  1. Although it's a bit unrealistic, u could make a trigger setting it to radio alpha. Then put a waypoint just infront of the car and synchronise it with the trigger, and another load where u want it to pick u up. It will then wait for the trigger to activate and move to the load waypoint. Sychronise the load to your man's get in waypoint. When you want it to drop u off, giv the car a transport unload waypoint.

To make it look good on the trigger, go to effects and at the bottom click text and write something like, "We need transport" and that will appear when in the game you radio him in!

  2. I got exactly the same message in mission editor when I kept writing - this addweaponcargo ["SVDDRAGONOV",3]. Somehow I kept spelling Dragonov wrong and the game kicked me out. I think that the file that it looks for doesn't exist or it has moved or something like that! (Don't take my word for it, I'm not entirely sure.) confused.gif

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

  4. I did the thing with the helicopter, however I ended up killing the SCUD launcher first, (which was easy I just flew about 500m away from the south-easterly coast and waited for it to appear on my targeting system) doing the mission partly backwards.

I ended up scowering the land for ages looking for Guba but I eventually found him sightseeing with his spetznatz m8, he wasn't anyhere near the top of the island on mine, I'd say he was about middle north. I doused the spetz with the only bullet I had to fire on the mission, went up to Guba and the cutscene started, you should have seen the look on his face when he found that I had duped his second masterplan. Hehe smile.gif

  5. I stormed thorough the resistance in the first few towns in my tank and then went into the base where Sergei is held and put the tank between the barracks and the mi-17 didn't bother me. When it had cleared off I ran down the tent and the two guards just layed down as I told Segei to board my tank. After that I just hit the throttle and drove straight on (over the wilderness, I think), without bothering at the Russian men and tanks I had to pass to the extraction point. The mi-17 was shadowing me all the way, firing rockets but missing, (I don't think the ai can compensate for movement) and it was pretty scary when the mission didn't end as soon as I hit the extraction. The mi-17 curled around but the mission ended before he had chance to do anything! Phew!

  6. Sometimes although the cobras look dead, they might just be rolled over, or screwed up in some other way, best just to keep blamming them, until the mission ends, that's what I did!

  7. I usually have better luck when I hit them from the front, as hitting them from the back carries the risk of the missile detonating aimlessly on the ground. From the front you can almost get level with them and use the rockets like bullets. Whichever ever way suits you the best, is always the best! smile.gif
