My title has been some obscure disease of the hand for about a year now.

 If you're just going to be, 'Rule Britannia' about this then there's no point in posting any comments. You'd have to be blind or dumb not to see the technological chasm the USAF has over the RAF... If thats your attitude, I'm afraid you'll never get to fly. If you tell the recruiment officer you just want to fly the biggest and best aircraft in world, they won't be impressed. Part of being a military pilot and an Officer is serving your country. If your only argument is that you want to fly in the USAF because they have the 'best stuff', then your buggered. Thery are not looking at spending millions on training you, just so you can fly their aircraft. They want to know what you can contribute to the force as a whole, as an officer and a pilot. They WILL ask you why you didn't want to fly for the RAF, and if your only excuse is that the USAF has better kit, I doubt you will get in. I'd think about your reasons before you go for an interview, and express a wish of becoming a US citizen first, then you realised you could serve your new country etc. That might wash. As for the tech chasm, yes, there is a large shortfall, compared to US spending.. Strange that on exercises that the 'RAF junkheaps' match or beat the 'spangly new' US kit in many engagements. So, training and finesse, or flashy and loud? I'd take the former thanks. (And one of those rustbucket Typhoons) Jesus, if that's not biased I don't know what is. Talk about shitting on someone's dreams. I smell "fighter-jock-wash-out syndrome". Shit, If it's always been his dream to fly a fighter-plane because that is what he will love doing I think that is dedication enough, why didn't he join the RAF? Maybe he sees more opportunity over here? I don't know where you're pulling this training and finess crap from, USAF pilots train just as much as their RAF equivalents. Also please post some evidence of RAF planes besting USAF planes.

LOL You could have chosen a desert camoed Bradley in a desert environment for the picture   What difference does it make?  I think that the Bradley could do with some tweaking but i'll wait for the BAS release as that will undoubtedly be very realistic yet also fun to play in game. Well, I think that it will show how it will look when we get the BAS desert pack since almost all missions are in woodland. Haha. That reminds me of the Military Stupidity thread where the Dutch troops got snowplows for their service in Iraq. Oh well Black, if you'd stop bitching (your profession) you'd find creative ways to use the desert vehicle packs.

I have... P4 1.3 Ghz 512 RAM Geforce 3 Ti500 512x512 ground tex Visual Qual @ 4.5 Framerate @ 20 Terrain Qual @ Low I get pretty good FPS throughout, unless things get /really/ hairy.
