I must admit this was one I did only the main objective for. I guess I was warming up! Anyway, 1. Attacked a small camp and killed two guards. 2. Obtained their rockets. 3. Moved to the hill in front of the main base. 4. Snuck down the hill to the left and took out the guard by a gate 5. Waited for the wandering guards to pass then attached my SC to the nearest bit of armour. 6. Snuck back up the hill and took aim on the guards in the base. 7. Started shooting them one at a time. 8. Blew up the SC at an opportune moment taking out some enemy. 9. Once all guards were dead entered the base and took out the remaining armour with rockets. 10. Got out of dodge. Thinking about it now I should have jumped into the armour and taken the guards with that... doh!

Completed on vet. //Spoilers. 1. Ran right from start to the top of the mountain ridge 2. Ran across the far side of the mountain keeping the base on my left until I was in front of the base. 3. Walked quietly down the side of the mountain towards the entrance and picked off the single guard standing 50m outside the base with a shot to the back of the head. This was the only guard I could shoot without setting off the alarms (obviously: silent shooting). 4. Crawled closer to the front gate. 5. Three guards go in. One guard comes out. 6. Crawled into the base through the front gate, very close to the truck. Yes, I was lit by the front lights. 7. Crawled directly forwards past the truck and, once out of the lights, to the left. The lights screw your NV, but DONT wait for it to clear- get out of there. 8. At this point I always got spotted by a guard behind the truck, (on easy he isn’t there btw). I shot him and immediately stood, ran through the gap between the left two buildings, across the short bit of ground and jumped in the tank. (This needs to be done QUICKLY. There is a gun tower to your right during the run and it took a few attempts to make the tank before they start shooting. I guess you could always throw a grenade their way directly after shooting the guard if you wanted to.) 9. Once in the tank I shot everything, making sure to get the armour and all the troops. After I rampaged through the base I destroyed the guard towers and then drove the tank out of the base and close to the exit point (it won’t go up the hill). 10. I Demo'd the tank and ran to the exit. This mission reminded me of one in OFP that looked impossible from the brief and basically required you to think on your belly commando style! On Vet you only get one save, which I used at point 5/6

I am on 1.5 //SPOILERS! I placed all the bombs under the nearest side of the bridge. That is before the water. I placed them in a stagged form. Three tucked right into the point where the bridge met the slope and then two a small step back. Note: you cannot place them too close together. so a side diagram would be: BRIDGE ROAD |------------------|------------ \ xxxxx/ Slope \^^^^^^^^/ Water A 1st person view from under the bridge looking at the bombs and facing the road with the bridge going over my head, would be: | X X X | | X X | Once the 5th was placed I got the update. This suggests that the explosion is actually scripted rather than caused by the physics engine of the bombs. I ran from the bridge towards the arms stash and quickly loaded up with AT rounds. Once the bombs went up the game saves. I then found that the tanks and BMP were riding up the bank. I used the AT round on the T72 and the crew got out, which I killed from a corner. I then waited for a moment. I then ran over to the T72 and got in. Using the tanks gun I took out the BMP and then limped the T72 around the wreckage and took out the other BMP. I then jumped out of the tank and ran to the parade ground inside a mesh cage wall. At one corner I found a jeep. I used this to race towards the exit, keeping my path just below the lip of the bank of the river (thus avoiding the other BMP and tank that ambush you if you follow the road). I did pass a group of US troops, but frankly I left them too it. Once I got close to the end point the mission ended. I must have taken something like 15 attempts. 90% of which were surviving the intial AT battle to wreck the T72. The rest took one attempt. Basho
