    Body Armor In ArmA

It will be nice to have the choice to use or to not use the body armor, it will be great also to see the infantry wearing the complete IBA (groin, neck, yoke, torso, back) system and the special forces the CIRAS. Maybe BIS can create the wearing system like in Diablo, Jagged Alliance, what do you think?? Once you take more you move slower -> you get tired faster and you shoot less accurate ?? Nowadays the average infantryman can take up to 1/3 of his weight of equipment, pouches rounds etc... This kind of wearing system can be a great challenge to add modular systems to the game and a lot of new objects. Don't forget that the modern body armor is a two piece system, the soft panels (kevlar) and the hard ones(ceramic, steel) called SAPI plates one in the front (torso) and the second in on the rear. The soft kevlar offers protection against shrapnels and 9mm rounds and everything less powerfull than 9mm. The hard plates can stop the 7.62 round. Last question... Ok, the west can have body armors but what about the east. Maybe someone can take a look for russian body armors?? I don't know if they use any...

Somethinjg wrong with the Acog in ARMA

I know that there is a lot of problems with arma so sorry for that thread. Thanks for the nice view opteryx, I am pretty sure that we are dealing with the red chevron scope in Arma take a look when you play, you can clearly see the red chevron on the top of the Acog so we have the TA31F. I think that we need to focus on many problems coz we are the community, we payed for that game, we are happy with it and we want to see it improved even in small details....
  8. Hi folks, there is something wrong with the acog in Arma. The Acog with the red chevron incorporates dual illumination technology using a combination of fiber optics and self-luminous tritium. This allows the aiming point to be always illuminated without the use of batteries. The Tritium illuminates the aiming point in total darkness, and the fiber optic self-adjusts reticle brightness during daylight according to ambient light conditions. This enables the shooter to keep both eyes open while engaging targets and maintaining maximum situational awareness. The version with the red chevron on the top (used in arma) must display a sight like that:

Hmmm it will be great to see the AN/PEQ-2 in Arma because this can be used to be as a pointer in NVG missions, It think that this is a easy feature to add. The AN/PEQ-2 has also the NVG illumination great stuff for some CQB NVG missions.
