hi all I havent played arma for some while, and i wanted to play multiplayer again. And when i join a server, very fast in the game i get the message 'No message received for .. seconds'. And nothing i can do except disconnecting and searching for another server. This evening ive been busy doing this again for a few hours, and im really getting irritated by this. I scanned my computer for viruses and spyware, all my drivers are up to date and im playing arma on version 1.08. And i have a wireless internet connection, works perfect. Who knows how to fix this problem?

seems like i already found the cause of the problem. Mods. I deleted the mods and now i dont have the problem anymore.

i always check the ping, i never join a server with a ping over 50. My connection works fine, i can play COD4 online without connection problems. My wireless connection status is 'Excellent' on sender+receiver. Could it be that the problem is because of the wireless connection? Even when u think it works perfect on the internet and other games?

The cities on these islands are huge and populated with ruined buildings to create that war torn feeling (first seen on PMC Rattler island). Purpose of this release is to demonstrate to the ArmA community of how huge islands and especially cities we are now able to create. CAN MY PC HANDLE THIS??????

Yes, like thepredator said.. There aint so much changes or new things. The things i do like from this mod ís the new explosion they made for destroying tanks etc. That looks pretty cool. My opinion about the sounds.. The new sounds for some weapons are nice, but the sounds for the tanks are much too loud yes. Tracers only for some weapons / vehicles. Vulcan should have tracers in my opinion. Ghilli suit is nice, yes.. could have more color variation, and watching a ghilli sniper from distance makes the ghilli suit almost dissapear and u almost see just a normal soldier. Overall, they made some nice things with this mod, but there aint so many new things, thats a pitty, i expected a litle more by watching the videos from EAM.

i did. But i havent played the standard version, i installed the 1.2 patch right after i installed the standard. So i dont know if anything changed into english. Almost everything is english. When playing the only things that are in french is in the action menu sometimes. So thats not so bad

i dont know how the VBS1 sniper looks like, but the sniper and spotter from bluefor has both ghilli suits. And it looks very nice. Opfor no ghilli

I totally agree with spokesperson. I cant play with the posteffect on. My eyes start doing crazy, and i dont even like the way the game looks like then, i prefer to have the posteffect on Low. Looks much better

I installed the patch 1.07 succesfully. When i play, all the soldiers ( except heavy machinegunner ) are missing their primairy rifle! Doesnt matter when i do mission editor, or missions, they never appear with their rifle. But when i shoot, they do shoot their rifle, but there is no rifle, and the soldier is just standing there with his arms straight down. Anyone with the same problem?

A harrier always flies arround, but will never attack tanks with his bombs. What i need to do to let a harrier attack a tank?

I dont see why u dont like this. Caus it only makes the game more realistic. I like these new movements. And i think more people like them then hate them. People sometimes are complaining too much i think.

Isnt there a easier way to install this 'soundpack' I Like playing a game on my pc, but i dont know a lot about doing the things like u read in the 'readme' to install this 'soundpack'. Its beyond my knowledge about computers. I've been trying, but it doesnt work. I must be doing things wrong. No easy to use 'install.exe' u can make?
