running q6600 3ghz; 4gb ram; 2x 8800 GTX ; os xp x64 178.13_geforce_winxp_64bit_english_whql.exe in sli perfect 180.48_geforce_winxp_64bit_english_whql.exe in sli full flickering already at startup; flickering is gone when sli is disabled. for the moment thus back to 178.13. a shame, because the latest nvidia driver looked good.

Add On Compilation for more Realism and Immersion
Birdseye replied to the.d's topic in ARMA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Indeed the FFN-mod doesn't fit in very well at this stage. Maybe in future releases of the mod perhaps. Thanks for trying and testing. -

Didn't see the FFN-mod listed here. It's a good addon. It was updated to work with Extended eventhandlers (XEH Version) (v 1.7) some time ago. version 1.3 - fixed incompatibility with 3rd parties custom animations - two versions of replacement( install only one at once):  FFN_REPLACEMENT: only dodge and cqb movements , less laggy  FFN_REPLACEMENT_RANGE : dodge and cqb movements and increased engange distance , allows the possibility to activate other ffn features via init line - compatible with other mods like SIX tracers, Maddmats effects and @ECS mod. *-video link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIRWI2hQoUw *-download link http://www.armedassault.info/index.php?cat=news&id=617 *-forum link http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....96;st=0 Probably you got to install it on a dedicated server too, without the replacementfile? -

The website of the author does indeed give me a warning in avira-antivir. But I scanned the package and the .exe file and it's clean. so now I did an extra virus scan using: http://virusscan.jotti.org/ to check the .exe for virus and I'm not too pleased with the results. But of course, some virus scanners give false positive warnings. Service load:  0%     100%  File:  aaspy.exe  Status:  INFECTED/MALWARE  MD5:  cc8a1b16d8bf68384a2e255d296af4a0  Packers detected:  PE_PATCH, UPACK Scanner results  Scan taken on 28 May 2008 18:52:30 (GMT)  A-Squared  Found nothing AntiVir  Found nothing ArcaVir  Found Heur.Win32.I  Avast  Found nothing AVG Antivirus  Found nothing BitDefender  Found nothing ClamAV  Found PUA.Packed.UPack-2  CPsecure  Found nothing Dr.Web  Found nothing F-Prot Antivirus  Found nothing F-Secure Anti-Virus  Found nothing Fortinet  Found nothing Ikarus  Found Suspect code-parts (probable variant)  Kaspersky Anti-Virus  Found nothing NOD32  Found nothing Norman Virus Control  Found W32/Suspicious_U.gen  Panda Anti-virus  Found nothing Sophos Anti-virus  Found Mal/EncPk-C  VirusBuster  Found nothing VBA32  Found nothing highly regarded virus scanners as nod32 and kaspersky found nothing. that's the most importing thing I suppose. I saw that this program was not very familiar, and it had interesting features, that's why I posted it. It's quite old (2007?). Yoma Arma Addon Synchroniser is a great program, with lots of functions. Also the ability to load the mods in the right loading order is very nice. But an extension of the program with a serverbrower would be an interesting feature. But, it ain't a must. it's great the way it is!

no it's not a addon-synchroniser. this picture should make it clear.

Arma runs beautifull. to compare. use fraps, en start benchmarking as soon as arma stops loading for 150 seconds. the results: Frames: 6789 - Time: 150000ms - Avg: 45.260 - Min: 0 - Max: 97 this using 1280x1024; all possible settings as high as possible viewdistance=10k (q6600@3ghz, 2x xfx 8800gtx xxx, 2048 memory) (only 1 addon is loaded: Kegetys lowplants 1.1 (lower fps) (used nvidia beta drivers 169.21) if I set everything in nvidiacontrolpanel on high quality, or on high performance, the benchmark difference will only be 1-2 fps maybe a few links to remind: lowplants: http://www.kegetys.net/dl.php/lowplants11.zip fraps: http://www.fraps.com/setup.exe nvidia-beta drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/betadrivers.aspx?lang=en-us

Using this GRAA and ECP together is amazing. This makes the missions the best I have experienced so far! And besides, I had 0 crashed in crCTI games I played single player. Great work !
-
@solus Great Mod!!! I love it. Also the combination with ECPis great! a few small things... * it looks like your slx-ecp config uses the DSAI Extension (US) v1.1 for ECP v1.085e. So I do have to install that addon? * In your ecp-slx config radiochatter is disabled. Is that your preferece, of can it cause conflicts when turning on? * While starting SLX-ECP, I get the error when starting OFP: Cannot load mission, missing addons: bis_resistence. * The missions I want to play (crcti) runs fine, but in multiplayer (only lan) it crashes. Are there some things you know off, which can cause those crashes, and have to be turned off?
