I used to be ok with ofp scripting, but somehow I seem to do something wrong in arma. I just can't seem to handle to make units or vehicles move to marker or to object (invisible H). My script assings pilot to harrier, orderGetIn's but thats it. I tried all kinds of variations of doMove and getPos but I get errors like "generic error" and "error missing )". I looked for examples and comrefs but I can't find suitable script to mod. I don't get this So can please someone write a piece of script how do I make pilot that is assigned and ordered into a harrier fly to a specific marker or object (invisible H) so that I could move forward with my mission? I would really REALLY appreciate it.

I'm dreaming of starting a map project myself. What software is there for map making to arma? Do I need several or just Visitor2? Does anyone know any good step-by-step tutorials for map making?

For those who already have this gem, does the east side have planes or artillery? It's perfectly ok if each side has it's own style of hardware combination, but I was just wondering because I tough making a multiplayer mode and possibility for arty and airstrike for both sides would be nice.

As I'm very impatient for this game I ordered the german version from amazon.de, does anyone know how much it'll take them approximately to deliver it when it's released? I can read/speak a bit german, but I can't find any info on the order confirmation mail or anywhere else.

So the conversion method (from polish to english) is also doable to german to english? I was thinking of ordering arma from amazon.de.

Wasn't there supposed to be lakes (no river contact to the sea)? I can't identify any on that map.

Ingame advertising isn't bad when it's done properly. Mainly it means using ads or company logos in objects where you'd see ads anyway in real world....like someone already said. For example a soda slot machine with coca cola covering or crushed pepsi can or dell computer. Although huge pillboard ads sound a bit questionable, they blend in perfectly when adjusted to surrounding colour and lightning scheme, and maybe weathered a bit.
