  1. look at game projectile/weapon. look at real life prototype. See a differences ? I think, yes But i'm talking about other corner. In OFP to simulate different weapon capabilites/properties, addonmakers typically use DIFFERENT projectile classes - like "AK74MagAP7H10". But their make ammo uninterchargeable and supply/logistic(:-)/mapmaking very difficult ... Fly not use othe modway - soldier picked up M16 ammo (M995 for examples), but because they carry G36, instead M16-standart rifle, theyr inventory filled with appropriate weapon, according to clip counts taken. These simpliest way. By implementing in core (like runned with "-mod=ammoworld"-swith data by extend eventhandler classes - more easies for end-user. in other words - one ammo(ammo class) clip - thousand different weapons(as in reallife)/

  3. I think taktical computer addon(looks like ordinary industry-heavvy laptop) can be useful for some purposes. With interfaces like UAV console from FDF-mod and sophsticated brain inside from CoC CE, that would be kick-ass addon !! aspecialy 4 RTS-modes, like C&C or MFCTI ;-)
  4. Why nobody do not realize ability to pilot(and mapmakerz(via ammo/weap-pool)) to select payload for diferent mission ? With menus like MFCTI-"LOADOUT" ? And why nobody not make rearm/refuel vehicles/peoples for airfield/aiunits ? Aerial refuel ? With aitr-tankerz and without ?
  5. Whi not use real-life naming sheme ? Like that: we got ammo, and weapon(launch/disperse device) weapon - typicaly weapon holder name(like "UBD-8-2" or "PBD-6-2-3" And ammo - like real life projectiles(can fit on pylon/launcher) - Like "FAB-500-62" or "AT-22" or "X-25" or "UPP-250" or "KMGU-500" , that can be loaded/lauched on these pylon MIXED at will. I wonder why many addonmakerz follofing old "weaponname"/"weaponname"mag-chain-way.
  6. What about DXT3/DXT5-texture support ? This, of course, a bit large(typically 1.3 times) but looking astonishing better. Especially uzeful for Sky/Water/Clouds/particle(Explosion&etc) -modmakerz/ Another Q is VBR Vorbis file unsupporting Yes, i know vobis-tools/lib with ver higher 0.9b sounds weaker than early beta, but vbr inmplemented in early version. What about adding this in future fixes for ofp 1 ?
  7. many talk about savegame implementation in MP-mode OFP ago, and about performance panalties .... For botmatch(4 exmpl - 2 pll w/o speed i-connections, or training) purposes SP-version can solver partially those trouble. But in SP respawn -ISN't available ... Now about revrote some core code part 2 small mod (like ECP/WGL way) ? Got any ideas ? :|

    i still try Over tree year :-) i'm a poor scripter and/or poor programmer at all :-) Streaming screen video over net - isn't problem. Scripting camera - almost too.(but they require more AI , than typically But NEEDED - muild mod than enables this T-R-A-N-S-P-A-R-E-N-T-L-Y for mapmakers and server admins - i.e w/o changing map/server config(excep - adding "-mod xxxx" line Simplier way - manned(Civ side - TV-operator :-) Can anyone make unit "TV operator ?" - with wgl-like binocular - zoomed well, and with changeable FOV(if possible). Killing TV operator - removes about 5 point :-)
  10. To translate OPF-balttlefield over Net like UT2k4: 1. Scripts with smart camera (like used ECP/MFCTI/FDF&etc) this camera can be used only by hidden($xxxx) slots, used by streaming servers 2. Straming server(translates sho wover Net consist: a. OFP client b. Screeen capture codec(like LEAD creeen codec or techsmit) c. flexibe enough and free streaming solutions - i prefer VLCPLay(http://www.videolan.org) 3. Enough money 4 traffic each camera - ~300Kb/s, depends codec(I Prefer VP6.1) and resoluton/framerate almost all camera scipts must override built-in 2 work in all mission and script package can come in mode package(runed with "-mod LiveTv"-like swith)that 4 stream server can hidden and constantly(!!!!) connected 2 Dedicated main serverz.
