  1. This is a question about the original PC release of Operation Flashpoint. Does anyone know where the stock sound effects came from? Particularly, the sound of two tanks colliding. I hear that sound all the time on TV and in movies. I wish I knew what it was called.

Hmmm... to unify these two ideas, if A is for Aussies, and B is for Brits, then C would have to be for Canadians, who could be deployed by whichever side had better snacks! Operation Flushpoint: It's 2015 and the Commonwealth has splintered into factions squabbling over who has the best beer!

But that's just crazy! It has to be new and different just for the sake of being new and different!

    ArmedA Soundtrack

Ok, then. We'll agree that Ondrej rocks and we're hoping to see great things. As far as Seventh goes, I'll take the extra helping that the posters above don't want. I currently have Seventh's "Lifeless" in my Ipod at the moment, at it always brings me back to that Red Hammer mission where everyone was dead and I was injured in the legs and was trying to crawl for the evac helicopter. "Watch you die"... that line had my adrenaline going like nothing else I can think of!

    That was the best part!

I hope they bring in one of the old tunes, but copyright issues might prevent that, I guess.

    A New Enemy

Can we not set the game during the Cold War again? Or do we have to have it set during the present? The "modern" environment is such a dismal setting for an FPS storyline, other than Tom Clancy-type shooters. One of the things that I liked the best were the iron sights on weapons.

    A New Enemy

I wouldn't like something without the US, as long as there are scenarios where we can be on the other side. But one thing is for sure: THE TERRORIST IDEA IS PLAYED OUT! One of the things that made OpFlash great is that it was a (mini) clash of titans. Not the US vs. some country having the military equivalent of a hissy-fit!

    ArmedA Soundtrack

Do we have any info about the soundtrack to ArmedA? The soundtrack to the original series was excellent. I'm predicting that ArmedA will be a huge hit if they reprise old favourites like Seventh's "Lifeless"!

    Hidden agenda; redhammer

I just received this letter from BIS Support, and I must admit that it ticks me off: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Justin, please, contact Codemasters who developed Red Hammer campaing. We are not able to help you with it. Thank you. With the best regards Robert Stipek --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let's just deny responsibility for the whole issue, shall we?

Ofp level size vs. halo level size

Get planetside or Breed, they look much more interesting and PC dedicated(none of that console bs)<span id='postcolor'> Let's wreck the discussion before it gets off the ground, why don't we? Face it, the PC could never produce anything like HALO.

I'm yet to see a single game of mine that doesn't have at least a few anomalies (minor or otherwise) thanks to the Catalysts.<span id='postcolor'> Fair enough. But, as some have pointed out, it may be less due to any problem with the drivers than it is from poor support from the software developer. In a year from now, when Radeon cards are the prominent ones, we may be seeing the same problem with NVidia cards. I mean, it's entirely absurd that ATI as a company is incapable of releasing good drivers. The company doesn't set out to make the best hardware on the market and then let the software "work itself out". It's not like they never thought of hiring away someone competent from NVidia, or tripling their software budget.

    Direct speeking

I'm just wondering how it is possible that you got direct speaking to work, but the Global Channel doesn't. Are you sure?

  15. Or the original isn't yours, or you don't really have the original and you want to make a copy of a copy...
