Hello I played OFP quite a number of years ago, and haven't come back to it for quite a while. Now I see this Civil War mod and am very interested, being a Civil war buff myself. However, I am having all kinds of problems getting it to run. To start with, let me summarize what I have been doing. I have updated my OFP to 1.96. I downloaded the original version 1.2 from the CW site. I extract the 1.2 version into the OFP folder, it then creates a "cwmod.ver1.2" folder. Not sure if this is right, or whether it should be extracted to a "CWMOD" folder. I then create a shortcut from the OFP RESISTANCE .exe. I follow the instructions to set up the shortcut exactly, but can't get the shortcut to work. The path will not change when I select "Change Icon", and browse the correct path to the CWMod in the "Dta" folder in my "cwmod.ver1.2" folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated in pointing out where I have made an error. Thanks in advance.

Salute Kutya Thanks for your reply. There is no "Change Target" option when you click on properties on the shortcut. There is a "Find Target" line, but that refuses to be edited either. If someone can give me a simple outline of what folders need to be created, where they need to be placed, where the various files from the CW Mod need to be placed in what folder, as well as how to edit the shortcut, I'd be very grateful. The instructions in the readme do not work for me. No matter how many times I try to edit the target or icon pointers, shortcut refuses to accept the changes. Thanks again
