uuum, those buildings up there.... they seem all finished. couldn't you (or whomever made them) release a seperate "objects" pack?! I recall an unfinished Tatooine build. pack which could be finished and mixed with the awesome SW grey buildings u seem to have back home. That would be a nice teaser to fiddle with while waiting for the clones.

 hey Aca. It took me 4 years of hardcore non-stop ofp 'regular' gaming before i finally gave in to the ofp sci-fi genre addons, and it took a bloke like YOU to drag me in.  Your works is simply masterpieces, the sci-fi equivalence of BAS addons!!! Now, your ARC-170 has brought the ofp gamelaunch icon back on my desktop! I just love to mess around flying that thing. The only thing that bugged me about it was the R2 unit who didn't have a "bleep" sound fx. so i implemented 6 misc R2D2 sounds & made a quick script for it. the unit now bleeps randomly whenever engine is on & im up in the sky. And the reason i put all this here is because I'd like you to add this (or a similar) effect to any updates of that specific craft, should there ever be one. The only thing i cant solve is if i double the ingame time... if i do that, and then set time back to normal and then land the craft, the R2 unit will say its bleeps even if im down & engine is off. In other words - R2 is off course behind scedule  since the script didn't discover my fiddling w/ the ingame time while flying. So, in short - hope you'll add such an effect to any updates of crafts with R2 units aboard and i hope that u can create a workaround for the issue i just mentioned. Addons like yours make the likes of me go back to OFP yet again, so a big thanx to you m8 for making us happy! Â

I can imagine your surprise!!!   You should see the config for details, m8: class TMB_music_11 {    sound[]={"\tmb_musicmod\11.ogg",0.2500010,1.0120000};    name="Fighter - Dogfight";    titles[]={}; }; So it's "11.ogg" that appears in the trigger menu as "Dogfight", regardless of its number in line there. For the record, I didn't define the tracks as "music" but under "sound", so you can actually play music from the "music" menu while playing the tracks from my collection. Not that I can see too many ways to take advantage of this, but there ye have it. About list of appearence: since many other addon-sounds pop up in these trigger menues you cannot rely on hanving any logical listing... ya have to search and find. And look in the config for details, if ye wanna rip a track or alike...

Hey m8 I get two error messages when loading "POLSKA" island. 1.) Requires addon "skyho" 2.) Error - cannot load/find "might_brickwall.p3d" They may be the same error/missout?! Anyone knowsabout the 'where-to-grab' re. this addon?

so its not too "simple" ? I kinda feared that ppl would go "bah, its too clean" or alike... The cover is deliberately kept simple & 'clean'... I wanted to create sort of a marine touch to it, with the green colours and all. After all, the falklands war was very much a sea/air battle, obviously.

Hellöw maties and gentlemen, here's my issue: I've always wondered why it is that people set the fuelcapatity of addons to 120 or even more (I've seen choppers with F=250+ ) !!! The thing is, in real world, a chopper has a short range of flight and so does fighters. Now, how many of you guys 'n' gals have EVER used a fueltruck in yer missions??? hm-hm! I've set all my addons to a fuelcapaity between 30 and 90 at max (few exceptions...) and I gotta tell ya, it brings a much more interesting scenery to everything! Also in MP, the precence of a "fuel team" is suddenly not all boring; they are your bud's that you REALLY wanna protect since loosing them can mean loosing the game! And why can a skoda circle the island 10.000 times? whats the deal with fuel stations then? Well, no more details or examples - ye all got the point I guess I just hope that MOD makers (especially collector-mods like Y2K3 or FFUR) will take this under concideration. And before changing anything in such mods, I think you all should pop in yer own opinions about fuelcapacity. Hope ye take it serious - its really a topic that bugs me (having to alter all those addons)

try making your own "launcher" (though the .exe should work). See, if yer Flashpoint game folder is not here: C:/programs/Codemasters/operationFlashpoint ...but here (for example) : C:/MyGames/OperationFlashpoint ...then ya need to re-direct the gamestart.exe ("flashpointresistance.exe") So rightclick on "flashpointresistance.exe" and make a new shortcut for it. Rightclick again on the new shortcut and in the PATH you must type in (or at least check) the proper path for ofp! Path example above would be: C:\MyGames\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE -nosplash -nomap -mod=FlashFxUR

if ppl say "Bah, Tomb, just slide the fuel bar if yer bored with the default fuel", then I'd have to reply: No pal, coz then making the type o' missions I have in mind would be pretty hard! See, then the AI would say "2 fuel low", and the AI-leader would instantly redirect the pilot/driver to the nearest friendly fuel depot/vehicle, and the whole crap would go loco!!! This is why I would like to have an "LF" version of most vehicles. To me, choppers should have a default fuelcap. around 80 This would allow any mission, but after 30 min's you'd have to refuel, and 30 min's (with ofp island size in mind) is MORE than enough for a ground attack/csar mission etc. without seeing the pilot fly home for a refill. Though, I mostly have human piloting in mind - I think it adds some thrill to it all if I know that eventually I will run outta fuel. Never played a mission where I actually ran outta fuel when flying a chopper with original fuelcapacity (addon or BIS).

Thank you! About the large download & missions that only use, say one or two sound files from the pack; To all mission makers: simply de-pbo the file and take out the music you wanna use, then pack it with yer mission, as you'd do normally when making a mission. And, optional, you can upload TWO versions of yer mission; one that has the sounds included and one for ppl who already have the pack. Simple and clean!

Hm, so what you say, all, in short is that there's no general need for any fuel changes? I have thought about making sort of a "HD" version of all known vehicles; Like the JAM-hd sodiers, we could have an "LF" vehicles pack (LF=low fuelCapacity)

ahem, I just took a closer peep at yer comment, matey, and it seems to me that you were a bit 'rushy' with that comment; how'd ya know about any possible "incompatibility" re. my soundMod when ya haven't even had the chance of grabbing it yet?! As I said above, its a simple .pbo for the normal "Addons" -folder, and it is perfectly compatible with ANYTHING OFP So regardless whether it is the smartest or most stupid way to creat a music mod, my addon is by no means part of the phenomenon that you refer to. Right there, rant over! (no hard feelings - just hadda explain this).
