oh yea i knew i forgot something. i have a geforce 3 'deluxe'

ok i did what everyone said and got more ram, i now have 384mb of ram. it made no diffrence at all in ofp its still pausy with just three default groups on desert island with nothing else on it. im not running any backround programs or anything. my system specs are: P3800mhz mobo:si854 tyan trinity 400 Winxp with 384mb of ram and if theres anything else you need to know tell me. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS

after reinstalling and trying 1024x768x32 it made no diffrence. ram has gone back up in price to about 50 bucks for 128mb of ram.

and a couple other things i forgot: i run ofp in 1024x768x16 i have windows xp and i had the problem with windows 98 to.im going to go try to reinstall it and see what happens GREAT!!!! i just uninstalled ofp without thinking and guess what?? cant find my manual to get my cd key. Â Â !!!!!!!!!!! is there any possible way i can find out what it is? Â Â Â Â Â grrrrrrr HAHA i found it now back to the performance question

i have posted this here before and no one could help me. so i figured i would try again. I'm havind really bad performance in ofp with me geforce 3. in the mission editor i placed 2 default groups on the map with nothing else and i clicked preview, when i got in it was pausy!! just with 2 groups. this is frusterating because on maps with trees there can be no soldiers anywhere and its still pausy I'm really hoping someone could help me out here i have had this problem for a while here are my system specs: P3 800 mhz Geforce 3 'Deluxe' Mobo: S1854 Trinity 400 128 mb of ram if there is anything else you need to know just tell me. i would REALLy appreciate it if someone could help me fix this. i have already looked at the avon ladys ofp FAQ's but nothing there helped me either so please someone help! thanks!!

on night time levels everything is black and white no matter what even if there are lights shining on it and its really annoying HELP i have a geforce 3

nope i couldnt find anything that fixed it. and i was curious to see my fps but FRAPS completey screwed it up while it was running, so anyone else have anything that might help?

i just tried and it made it worse. and i also have 128mb of ram i forgot to mention that

oh yea and its only ofp that has bad performance all my other games run nice and smooth like max payne, giants, halflife and a couple others

i have winxp a geforce 3 and a pentium 3 800Mhz and in the desert island with NOTHING but at least 4 groups of soldiers its pausy! thats just an example. singleplayer in the levels with all the trees and stuff its really hard to play. i also had the performance problem with win98 so its not because i upgraded to xp. I dont understand why it is so pausy PLEASE HELP. and i run the game at 1024x768x16 any tips or anything that would improve performance would be great! thanks
