  1. I was doing some testing these days and I found the followin: there are lot of new houses almost useless in-game because of the moltitude of bugs present. Many houses have useless gazebos, they dont' cover you from enemy fire (bullets are not stopped by the wood) and Ai sees you perfectly through the wood. Other houses are a pain to get in: I got stucked in tables and other objects one hundred time, sometime I've been teleported to the next room after a bad collision with an object located in another room. Another old problem never solved is that AI sees you perfectly through the smoke. This make the officer with smoke shells almost useless, they will see you and kill you also when there's so much smoke you can't even imagine they're behind it. Damn guys when are we goin to buy a clean product? (ok one or two bugs is comprehensible... but here we are goin a little too far) p.s. some of the houses are located in Velka Ves(nogova), where I made my experiment

    And that makes sense MJR. Gastovski, because Hellfires are AT missiles so you are not supposed to engage air target using them. So only chance is the machinegun (dont' worry it's the same for the Hind)

    Another little thing, the HEAT ammo of the tanks create a giant crater on the ground, much greater than the sabot one. I created a little fight between a couple of infantry squads and a pair of M60 platoon: well no one for sure shot a single HEAT toward the infantry, all the field was filled with little SABOT craters... it's quite a shame.

    I tested all the stuff with the maximum skill level that is possible to set... I tried a lot also using the bmp2 because the difference among AP and HE is more visible since AP ammo doesnt' explode on the ground and I'm pretty sure that the BMP2 shot my men without usin HE projectiles

    No I'm sure they dont' use heat... an heat fired from a t80 can take out 4 men in line formation with one single shot. The AI fires only sabots and you can tell it by the fact that they kill rarely more than 1/2 soldiers per shot. You can see it quite well also with bmp2: infact the heat shell makes a great cloud of dust and smoke and the AP doesn't. Try to put yourselfe under fire by a bmp2 and you'll see that he can only shoot AP at you.

    Have you ever noticed that Ai never changes ammo engagin different targets? I've never seen tanks firing heat ammo on enemy infantry nor ai officers using smokes or ordering their men to load the mortar projectile when possible... What do you think about it? It's quite sad when a m1a1 tries to catch every single man in a formation with tons of sabot, instead of shootin a single an lethal heat projectile.

    Ok thx for the replies, I have winter kolgujev addon, maf addons and dynamic audio etc etc... but i tried also after i disinstalled them... maybe my config is just too much messed up... I'll try to reinstall all the thing

    I noticed one thing the other day: on version 1.42-1.46 (I have no idea for earlier releases) cars, jeeps and uaz's don't collide no more. I mean if u drive an hmmv, a tank or a truck into a car, or a jeep/uaz, the collision system works properly. But if you have a car crash between a jeep and a car the two vehicles will just pass trhough one another. They'll receive damage the same, but this way it's possible to pass trough a roadblock witouth beeing stopped by any collision. Quite bad I think.

    I agree with gneed, I pressed the "thing" in the middle and my ofp copy was shot 2 meters away and felt on the floor breakin in two different parts... but I am a lucky guy and I had the "press copy" sent me by codemasters to be used as substitute. So definitively these new cd boxes are a load of s**t... I'm 25, I never finished the university and yes life is too difficult sometimes.
