    Ofp:r still a great game....

Check out this terrific review about OFP:R and OFP Watch on Tactical Gamer by Apophis........... Even though OFP has been out for some time, it's great to see people who are still discovering how much fun it can be to play this game. Just a quick note...... I've been getting some queries as to where our server went? Well, we've taken it down to bring it back up live on an OC3 line within the next day or so. So, obviously the old IP address above is now invalid, although we will be bringing that dedicated server up from time to time on cable bandwidth. To locate us, use UbiSoft's host service or "The All Seeing Eye" (great product) and check for our entry. You can then join our server from either of those start points. Again, thanks to Hudson and Radish for their support. There are some really gracious people out there who help turn a product into an enjoyable community. Regards, Badger BTW, ASE is at http://www.udpsoft.com/eye/

For those that might be interested, I have set up a high bandwidth server for Deathmatch and Capture the Flag missions ONLY. I have tried to focus on selecting the best of the many DM/CTF player designed missions gathered from various sources. Â Some of these missions are outstanding and very enjoyable. The address is 24.101.221.73 I look forward to seeing you there. BTW, I'd like to publicly thank ANGRY RADISH for his gracious assistance in helping me set up this server. ============================================================= Badger's DEDICATED Server for DM/CTF (Excellent Player Designed Missions) 24.101.221.73 ============================================================= Regards, Badger
  6. For those of you that buy the Gold Upgrade "Red Hammer" and have already upgraded v1.30 to v1.40, be warned that the install of the Gold Upgrade (boxed version) downgrades OFP to v1.30 again. I re-ran the v1.40 patch and it upgraded OFP back to v1.40. I assume that nothing else got screwed up in the process, but no errors were indicated when re-running the v1.40 upgrade. Regards, Badger
  7. LOL... No, it means that simply saying I don't have any problems in a troubleshooting thread of people who have problems isn't necessary. One assumes that only people suffering from that actual problem would bother to post, unless they wanted to see their name in lights. To add to it, simply saying you have no problems with absolutely no other diagnostic information such as system specs, US/UK version, did you patch through the betas etc is utterly useless. Perhaps I'm simply having a bad day, so if I'm kicking you as the proverbial dog, I apologize. Regards, Badger

Jesus. Does that mean no one reads posts from people who are not developers? I thought that was the whole point of this forum.<span id='postcolor'> I'm using the official maps.. no hacks, no mods, a clean install of v1.20, 1.30 and 1.40 upgrades all downladed from this site. The point of a troubleshooting forum provided by the actual software developer is to identify and solve customer problems, not watch "kids" verbally beat each other up. Apparently you don't have any problems and as a result have contributed little to this thread, except cloud the issue with personal commentary. Now, can we get back to asking the Bohemia's support reps on their public provided medium, if they have any idea as to what's causing this problem on a wide variety of undoctored and unmodified systems. Regards, Badger
  9. Toad.... I didn't get my upgrade from Codemaster's site. I got it from Bohemia's site and I have all of the problems I showed in my previous post. The unfortunate thing about this is the lack of response in this thread by anyone from Bohemia. You'd think they'd be interested enough to clarify what's happening. Regards, Badger
