That strange... what have I done wrong?

Dear gambla, which tool you used to re-pbo? I used PBO manager and BinPBO but after did the above steps, there was a pop-up message "Addon 'A3_Missions_F_Curator' requires addon 'A3_Missions_F_EPC" when I started the game and the whole WIN episode didn't load.

I'm so frustrated about this mission because most of the time the CSATs could kill you in the 1st few shots even at 300m away! Anyway, after dying countless times and retrying for a WHOLE week, I finally successfully escaped with all side missions completed. I'll try to describe in details for how to do it: Wait until all the dialogues end. An earthquake will knock off the door of the nearby offroad. Hop in and drive to the research base. The 1st side mission will be triggered: 2nd & 3rd side mission: Hope this could help.

You don't even need to get near them... Have you read my previous reply @ #25? http://forums.bistudio.com/showpost.php?p=1574157&postcount=25 With this tactic, I wiped out the Russian base way before sunrise! I've replayed this mission a few times and noted some behaviors of the Russians that help you to rush their base easier. I know that they have a LOT of soldiers and BTRs defending the base. However, when one of their towns was fallen into our side. The Russians will start to send their troops to other towns near by using the same manner of "fast travel" (the units "disappeared" suddenly), and left only about 1/3 of the original garrisons. At this point their new units are yet to be built. Seize this opportunity to clean up the base using the tactics I suggested. Of cause it still possible to be killed and reload previous save a few times during this key period, but IMO it is a easier way to complete this mission. And talking about the "infinity re-spawning" enemy soldiers even after their base destroyed, I found that they are the "commandable" units of the enemy. Seems like that the warfare engine tries to retain all such units so they keep re-spawning once they are wiped out even no capable building is exist. I thing BI should do something on this! Also note that you can take command anytime if you wish. If you afraid of a captured town being retaken by the Russian, you can vote the command to yourself and keep the only two friendly units to defend it until you got the upper hand. -

1. Go to any town center of your side. In the "Buy unit" menu, there are 3 options. You can repair, refuel and rearm your team vehicles. Don't forget to disembark first. 2. Don't know since I never bought so much units... May be the unit size limit affect this. 3. If you are the commander, I suggest attacking the base from ALL sides with all your units simultaneously. -
By default the defenses don't have any crewman. I think it depends on if the HQ has enough resources, not you. Moreover, if you only capture a stronghold of a village/town, no crewman will be spawn until you capture the village/town.

Well, I played it again after updated to 1.05 and find out the Russian defenses are tuned up a bit... Remember to bring something heavier with you... -
It's normal. The mission designed to be ended after Bardak is captured.

I suggest to attack the town using the 2 off-roads with MGs from a distance. Neutralize the heavy weapons first. Once the HQ being set up. Build a barrack & light factory ASAP. Detail plan:

I was also having a hard time to play this mission through, until I found the trick. In fact it isn't THAT hard of you know how to do it... Digest the mission task notes might give you some hints... The key of success is "speed". Since the Russians are building up their force as you do but they are in the upper hand because they have heavy factory while you don't, the sooner finish off the enemy base, the better. You don't want to see a column of T-90s crushing your poor small BRDM, right? -
I've asked this question in other thread but I think it worth for a new topic which should be easier to get an answer... I know how to control the UAV. However, I tried many times but never hit a thing with the Hellfire. There was already a red circle over the target and I was pretty sure the UAV flying towards it. Is there anything I missed?

In Badlands, you don't have much to do except taking care your own team so there is no differences in tactics. Just go and capture the towns.

Basic is simple: build all you can and buy the heaviest equipments as possible. Since NAPA only able to build barrack and light factory, the best vehicle you can buy is BRDM, which is a light armored car with a 20mm cannon and MG only. Defenses are virtually useless so just forget about them...

Yeah... not before her car ram into you and killed you... Since I never notice I could met the doctor and Valentina again so I replayed Manhattan yesterday and guess what, I was running in the middle of the road and saw her car coming in full speed and almost hit me before I realized that was her... -
I just noticed this problem after I upgraded to 1.05. I decided to buy an RPG-7 before I went on capturing town. However, when I bought an RPG, my default M4 suddenly disappeared with its ammo! That forced me to load the game again and dropped them all to my Offroad before actually buying anything!! Do any of you also find this problem? Is it a bug or something?

Need help capturinhg lopotev in dogs of war

I got the same "no chopper" problem on my 2nd attempt to play the campaign, but I never have problem for Lopotev entering my BMP... -
I decided to play the campaign again after upgraded to 1.04 to see if there is any improvement but, HECK NO! I tried to again step by step following the clues, collected all evidences until receiving the 20-mins message. I landed on south of Gorka and after just about a minute I got message of that Loopotev was escaped... SUCKS!! You don't have 20 but 5 d*mned mins only!! So I tried again! After talked to Dressler, I skipped everything and go to the known places directly. Again, of cause, failed many times and reload previous saves... In the progress of "retry", I'm pretty sure that the starting location of Bardak is random. Because few months ago when I first time captured him was just behind the electric plant. I went there again this time but no sign of him. Then I tried the quarry. When I talked to a pair of villagers I suddenly saw him running away at the far end of the road in front of me. Then I ran after him but lost him... after a few tries he was not found again. In the last retry, there was a weird moment... when I was waiting my helo, the mission ended suddenly with victory but Bardak is killed!!! Hey, I even hadn't start search for him and he was dead???? I have to start the whole mission again!! This time I think I should follow this walkthrough, so I flied to Vyshnoye, and I got the Jackpot! After landed for a few minutes, I saw Bardak driving his blue sedan leaving the castle so I stopped him and captured him! What a terrible experience!!! So these should be the possible starting locations: 1. Electric plant 2. Castle 3. Quarry 4. Northern camp (not confirm by myself, but some players said so) The key of success of this mission is to capture Bardak at his starting place! Hey BI guys! If you see this, please listen: We want some playable and enjoyable mission instead of such buggy and loose scripted crap!

After uncountable retries, and see everyone's suggestion here, still no luck at all! However, in the last two attempts, I "accidentally" found Badark and finally finished this mission in only 10 mins! I'm not sure if there is the fix Badark starting point. I'll confirm it later.

That's not true. I've once used the UAV to check around and had been shot down after a while. Shaftoe is still there. I think it is another nasty bug that incorrectly calculated his position where intersected with the table in front of him, because I found that every time he died, that table "disappeared". Really? I found that the artillery script disappeared after I found the main base (Cooper radioed HQ). This made me mad because with artillery support, destroying the base should be much easier! -
You are only halfway there. After destroy the 1st convoy you must drive ahead to the meeting place.
