I forget the exact location. The "President" is just standing somewhere in the village. Check carefully, especial the enclosures.

I really hate the beginning of this mission because the choice of LZ is one of the worst I ever seen. It is way too close to the parameter. All of you are under enemy marksmen fire once you landed and everyone in the town knows where you are. I've got killed a few times just right after auto save. Since I always like to keep all my teammates alive so I retried many times until I found a way which can possible to "save" them all. However, I had to go for the mission alone. Once the mission is auto saved, I scan the roofs for the marksmen. There are four possible spots (see the screenshot below) which I found so far. They are randomly appeared, so scan all of these spots. When I confirmed the roofs are cleared, I saved the game and led my teammates into the town until we got to the enclosure as indicated in the map below. There were 4-5 Especas moving into my way but I wasted them fairly easy. Once all my teammates were inside the area. They are definitely safe because AI only use major path and open ground. Then I ordered them to "Wait for me", "Go prone" and "Scan horizon". Amazingly they reported enemy activities from time to time. At this point I was on my own. To prevent more enemy encounters I rushed back to the farm near the LZ and drove the tractor as close to Largo as possible to save time. Actually I was working alone most of the time because "5 men attract more bullets than one man"!

OFP all the way! I must admit that QG campaign "Royal Flush" improved a lot comparing to the original ArmA campaign, but it still don't come up with 1985 and Resistance. "Rahmadi Conflict" still followed some flaws from the old one and is TOO short so it is not in my book.

Stuck in the prison camp mission

If my memory serve me right there will be a radio chatter that indicate the camp is cleared and you are ready to fire the flare. The camp boardcast is also changed to ask the prisoner to go to the main gate for pick up. I'm not 100% sure but it looks like the nearby barrack (which should be taken care by Group B) is also counted. Have you ask Group B to attack? -
Press "0"(number),"0"(number) and it will show the choices available.

I just finished the campaign. I must say that the first part of the operation could be a perfect chance to develop deeper and further on this ill-scripted campaign. However BIS ruined it! Com'on BIS, what's wrong with you guys? Eye candy can't make the game more playable, but the storyline did! The ArmA campaign is far from par with OFP. I think I'll try to extend the campaign myself, focusing on the continue conflict between RACS and US.

I managed to complete this mission before I found the hole in the mission editor... That's what I did: After mission started, I went to the top of the mountain on the right. Continue to the north until I reached ground level. Then I moved to the front gate. At a save distance I went prone and keep at slow speed (press Left-Shift twice). When I was near the gate. I realized that all the standing guards near by were facing away! So I kept prone and sneaked into the base without being spotted! In fact I was prone all the way near and inside the base. Avoided the walking guards and put all the satchel charges to the three targets. Sneaked out of the base via front gate again. Kept prone until I went deep into the woods on the left. Then I went to the top of the mountain on the left and set off the charges! BOOOOOOM!! I just needed to worry about the guard walking outside the base because he has a waypoint at the front gate. Also I was killed on the first attempt because I was too close to the truck at the gate and the guard near by had been alerted.

I'm not sure if it is US version because I lived in Hong Kong. It might be distributed by Atari Taiwan.

Destroying a convey (the first single mission)

Is it a version differences? I'm using 1.05 upgrade from 1.04. There is no mine for me to choose in briefing screen... and only 1 satchel charge... So I loaded up with 4 M136 rockets, leaving 2 M4 magazines behind. After the mission started, I drove the 4x4 to the road exit of the nearby woods and parked across the road like Duffers did. Then I set the satchel charge about 10 meters away from the 4x4. and hided at the spot with 4 trees around, overlooking the road. When the convoy arrived, the lead BMP stopped in front of the satchel charge, following by the truck loaded with soldiers. I took out the truck with my M136 and touched off the bomb at the same time to destroy the BMP. A tree was also bombed down in the progress and blocked the road completely. Then I killed the other BMP and the rest of the convoy became sitting duck. Since the last three trucks was loaded with explosive so a chain reaction will occured if they close enough. I managed to kill them all with only one shot. Mission Complete! -
