I dont even play the game much anymore couldnt be bothered till they fix it so i can play multi. Stalkers out now so BYBY AMA for now

yer it is a shame, i simply cant play 1.5 i am currently finshing out the single player missions and the campaign under 1.4 NO MP for me until they get another Patch out

60 FPS stable with AMD 4000, EVGA 8800 GTX, XIFI, 2 GIG RAM. Everything set to normal, Â bar text high and shadows v high. AA set to normal Post P set low. XP SP2 changed cfg file to 16 HDR and to use 1024 ram, Â set vsync and triple buffer off. SSAA set off or on depending on mood. Â Running at 1600x1024 EAX and Hardware acce' set off, Â Im sure Opeanal stuff aint perfect yet. tahst the diffrence though you are using XP SP2 Vista messes everything up. Should have stuck with XP a few more months

Yes shalati i feel your pain, Im in Australia and we seem to be having the same issues ill report back here if i find anything new out. I can only play on 1.4 also but alas i pretty much bought the game for MP. Hopefully we'll get an emergency patch or something i bet it a memory leak that they can fix pretty easily.

Try triple buffer and vsync off in nvidia control panel. Â that did it for me. Also I got rid of the mouse float issue, Â was handy for some things pain in the butt for a BF2 player ;} hmm ill have a look at report back.

Thanks for all the responses on this makes me feel better that im not the only one with these issues. I think it comes down to the vista / 8800 GTX Factor hopefully they'll bring out some better drivers soon so that we can finally enjoy AMA in all its glory. it's just such a shame lucky stalker is coming out at the end of the month i will be playing that until these issues are fixed.

just confirmed it then i just re-loaded 1.5 and im missing textures all over the place again and the FPS has dropped to around 20 or 30 at "normal" 1280x1024 any how im done here until they bring out 1.6 or someone finds a fix i can only play this at 1.4

it does seem a lot more responsive at medium settings but thats not the point. I would expect to play it at at least "HIGH" at 1900x1200 instead i have to play it at 1280x1024 "NORMAL" as attached. i havent tested 1.5 yet at "NORMAL" ill keep you updated

plenty of problems check the screens seems to be a drop in FPS there including the missing textures hope they fix it somehow

lol i dont know where your coming from but i have an 8800gtx and the game runs like crap! the textures are all blockey and messed up 768 meg dont make a bit of diffrence. I can play under 1.4 o.k. but 1.5 just crashed to desktop!

yer well i bought a sparkle 8800gtx and a new e6600 core 2 duo and the game runs like absolute S#$T for me  I played the demo for ages on this set-up at (Very high) 1900x1200 it actually run o.k. as Version 1.4 but it still has texture problems and un-explained slow downs. It really just runs like crap for such a good card bear in mind though im running Vista x86 this could also add to my woes. pick your game up Bohemia and get all us high end guys a fix

100.65 work o.k. for me i installed 101's but i wasnt stable ive running Vistra home premium 32bit

welcome to the club i have an e6600 + 8800 GTX with 100.65 if i install 1.5 i get corruption and crashes constantly. If i leave it at 1.4 and lower my resolution i.e. 1900x1200 unsure what res but the one just below this. it works? dont ask me
