  1. Hi, Maybe someone can help with this one. Set up this Global variable "ruattack" #SETVARIABLES ruattack = false (D:\Games\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\init.sqs) When running the mission in the editor the game recognises "ruattack" in players initialisations etc, but not through scripts when turned to TRUE... Edit: (not MP) Any ideas peoples? Thanks Arkon

  4. Hi CarlGustaffa, Yup, I would like to know too... Iv'e tried allsorts to make them move to another WP... But as you say it seems only combat/contact with an enemy seems to work. Arkon
  5. Hi, Think I done this before with Flashpoint somehow... My mission is too large (144 units/groups) and i need to split it into 2 parts carrying over the variables to part two. The map is the key, as its a north south split with the south featuring in part one and the north in part two. Some Waypoints/Triggers will be needed for both parts as will some units/groups but most of the south part will be deleted after part one. Perhaps this is how a campaign is done but i do not know. Any help appreciated. Arkon
  6. Hi, Tried allsorts to get this old problem to work. How can you get a tank to fire its main gun at the player or buildings without using invisble targets. Any ideas anyone? A working example for a T72 would be handy Arkon

    Hi [sPA]LynxEye, Thanks for all that, Iv'e discovered the error.... So far Iv'e found this to sort of work for a T72 _tank dowatch player ~3 _tank fire "D81" Where _tank is the name given to your tank. But, getting it to fire imediately or in the right direction is summint else, tried: _tank reveal player ; _tank dowatch player ; _tank doTarget player with mixed results cos the tank seems to have to think about it before it points its gun at the target and before it fires... also the damage it does to buildings seems minimal.     HI Shuko, Iv'e tried reveal / dowatch / doTarget player _cavtank fire "D81" It does fire now (dosen't seem to do much in the way of damage) But throws up an error: Type string expected object Thanks for your post Arkon2

    Hi HulkingUnicorn (nice name ) I need units (loads) for my mission to work - it's a single player mission - very long using all of the Sahrani map - the island is ideal for splitting into 2 with a north/south split - I think it mabye can be done like a campaign is but I'm not sure how campaign's are put together.   14. Hi, and thanks to Sickboy for all his efforts. Just wondering if anybody is getting CTD's with any of the buildings in the adddon? I,m getting some and one 100% of the time with the very last entry "zluty_statek_in". I am on XP - 1.05 with no other addons - this is happening on an empty map on flat ground. Arkon

  16. Hi, Wondering if anyone has a working script to to create flares (camcreate) in Armed Assault, iv'e tried a few from Flashpoint but am unable to get any to work in AA. Thanms Arkon
