OK, I tried and search this issue but found no result. The point is that within ArmA single missions' menu, where I access "My Missions" and try and create a "New Mission", everything I create on every island beside (United) Sarhani does not work for the fact that once I start it I find myself floating in the sea, kms away from terra firma. How comes? And how comes I have found no topics on the subject? Is it me or is it a common bug? And how can it be fixed, if it can?

Well, interesting guess but... it's a laptop, how would I try another power supply? The charger is already as thick as a brick.

Thanks for replying. Yes I though about that too but have not managed to get an evidence yet. Should try harder. Still, it happens with ArmA only, not with taxing games like Rainbow Six Vegas or Test Drive Unlimited for example. I hoped somebody would recon the same problem and help nailing it.

Ops! Sorry, thought nobody had replied. It happens with all versions of ArmA: pictures show a previous version only because I took the pictures back then. I guess it's an hardware issue but it is quite strange this only happens with ArmA among the dozens of other games, and it happens out of nowhere after litterally hours of flawless gameplay. Anyway, I'll add here one more picture taken withy my camera lately, back to desktop after dismissing the error popup. Mind you, the picture quality is good, it's the display to be bad and those lines are on the display. Notice again how the first screenshot ("print screen") differs from the camera shot: colour seems to be 16 bit there while it's actually b/w, the resolution drops to 640x480 or something in both cases and the lines are not present. What I see is what my camera sees, obviously.

Well, as the title says... ArmA works pretty well on my laptop [XP SP2/Core2Duo T7400 (2GB DDR2)/GeFORCE 7950GTX (512MB GDDR3)] but after palying some time (generally not less than one hour), it crashes. The application ends showing the error and the weird simplified garphics the pictures below witness. First one is taken within XP and strangely does not show the strange pattern of lines I can actually see displaied when this occurs, the latter is taken by my phone camera to try and capture the real result with the reduced colours and plenty of lines throughout the graphics. I have to reboot to sort the system out. Any ideas? is it my card, is it ArmA? Suggestions? Thanks. A!

OFP2 and NGPCG two different things?
Aeronautico replied to sniper pilot's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
Armed Assault "Armed Assault 2" Operation Flashpoint 2 Enemy in Sight That's what is to come apparenty, that should interest OFP players. -
Yeah, Allied Force is cool, Lock On is very cool, but Forgotten Battles/ Pacific Fighters is mandatory! A!

ArmA is spot on: it means weapon in Italian! Â Oh, and happy 4th B-day OFP! Â It's been four years... geez! Still remember the demo days, how astonished I was feeling for the realism extraordinaire... (yeah, never posted before but always been around).

What was wrong with the 80's?
