Amen to that. IMO the INV44 guys are doing it right. I don't want to have their great mod spoiled by some bugs and furthermore i hate patches! I think it is much better to have one pack without  / with a few bugs than a three times patched version. And they are showing pictures/ information - just check their forums. BTW I read in the Inv forums that they plan a newsletter, but I don't understand why they just don't post news on their site?

There are just a few who can make really good ones like mapfact etc. But in my opinion the missions are somehow always the same, because they're mostly Spec OP- ,Special Forces- or something like that missions. I hope Inv44 will make it more that it feels that you are just a small part of the whole mission/ operation - a normal grunt so to say.

I uninstalled OFP a long time ago - so I don't play it anymore. Actually I have no game installed on my computer, I just use it to surf the net and listen to my CDs. BUT when Invasion Phase 1 is released, you can bet that I install OFP immediatly...

Indeed a very nice chopper! Great work! Two things I noticed while playing: 1.It seems that the SOG version is using the view geometry LOD from a "normal" Ch34. If you're in commander view and zoom out it's changing its colour. 2.When I start the engine I'm getting a "script-error". It says "Ungültige Zahl in Ausdruck ~ Invalid number in expression".

I think you can get many AK74s at Tonal's black market which is very well known for its weapon trading. Why shouldn't the mercs buy some when they have the oppotunity? I'd like to play it! Â I think it is a good decision to do a campaign about nam, since this topic isn't used very often in OFP Missions. For inspiration you could look at Vietcong, if you have it. Some other ideas: -Seek 'n destroy (VC weapon/food crates) -Recon -Defend a hill / Attack an enemy position -Catch VC Tax collectors -Rescure a Papa Oscar Whiskey -Investigate villages/ find Montagnards for the CIDG programm -Chopper crash -> rescue pilots/ other soldiers -Chopper crash ->player survived, has to go safe area -Kill NVA general(s) -Defend the "home" base -... Just a few ideas, i know they aren't the best... About the music, are you going to include CCR's Fortunate Son? I really like that song. It's sooo cool hearing it when Hueys are flying by.
