Ok here's my system specs, i'll try to get them as detailed as i can.... AMD Athlon 2ghz 256 MB ram 60 gb hard drive Geforce 3 Ti200 I also have a Pioneer DVD rom drive (which I use for the main CD drive), and a generic CD Re-writer drive. The OS i'm running is windows 98 SE and I have DirectX 8.1. I also use Nero, and also the InCD program that comes with that is continually running (is this the CD emulator or debugger you were talking about?) I did e-mail a company when I was having problems with their software asking for the CD every time, and I am pretty sure they also said something about the safedisc. Hopefully this is enough, and thanks for your help

Can anyone give me any ideas to what I can do that might work?? Come on I have paid for this game I don't want to have wasted my money!!!

nope I installed it form my CDRW drive and that didnt work either... any suggestions anyone?

ok cheers for the reply, when I try to run Operation Flashpoint preferences it does exactly the same error. I will install it from my CD rewriter drive in a minute and see how it goes...

Hi, I have just installed operation flashpoint and whenever I start up the program, the operation flashpoint logo bar thing comes up, and right after it disappears an error message comes up. The title is just 'Error' and there is no text in it at all, just a button with the option to click 'OK'. This then closes the program. I have reinstalled it numerous times, and installed all of the patches up to 1.46. I have looked around this forum and other places but I am yet to find any solutions to this problem!! Please help, it is a legal copy installed straight from the CD, and was bought in the UK. I just want to play the game!! Thanks
