Today in my business class, we had a discussions about CEOs and senior level management. On the newspaper there was the top 100 paid CEO in canada and even the lowest figure seems astronomical compared to an average joe. So we came up with a conclusion. To have a good income and make lots of money, you gotta get into the business sector or senior level management. What do u you guys think? Just take a look at the average pay of a CEO or a up-ranking manager compared to lets say an engineer or scientist. Of course you cannot expect to get a such position immediatetly, it takes years of effort, hard work experience and preserverance to rise through the ranks. Most importantly, you need the neccessary people skills too. So my teacher made a joke..when asking kids what they want to be in the future..most would say teacher, policemen, engineers, scientists..no one say CEO, COO, CFO or Srn Managers lol.. so do you guys agree with that?

It has been almost a year that I have not touched operation flashpoint due to school work and stuff. Now i have more time and decided to go back the OP community. I really wish to get back online and enjoy the game, unfortunately, on gamespy, very few servers exists and almost no dedicated servers. Do u guys know any good dedicated servers where i can relive the OF experience? Thanks in advance!!

Isn't it interesting to find out and share what different armies in the world eat in the field? Calling all commrades please share what u guys eat. Let me start first: In the Singapore Armed Forces, the army are assigned 3 food pouches which contains the main dish, dessert and soup. The food are all prepared locally to suit the soldier's taste. The taste is great, just like homemade food but they are designed to provide enough energy for a person. The main dish changes regularly, so one day u might have rice and beef, the next day is fish or chicken. The dessert and soup more or less remain the same. Sometimes u have mushroom cream, red bean, greenbean, beef or fishsoup. Dessert is a little snack. To warm the food u either dump it in fire or boil it and tear the pouch open to enjoy a warm meal. Another newer thing the army had is a type of canned food with an integrated stove underneath. I just need to open the top, pull a trigger at the bottom of the can and the stove will lit. So u can boil ur own stuff in it. That is it about the Singapore army...time for u guys to share!

Army food around the world, guys lets share what u

hmmm seems that the german army's food package is pretty good and thorough eh? -
On the movie Heartbreak Ridge by clint eastwood..i seen those army guys train in real M16 but with a sensor in front of the barrel and wear vest that beeps to signify u are hit. That is for combat  training rite? How do the army now train the soldiers for actual combat fight? Same like on the movie using laser? So how does the gun fire and stuff cos they seem to fire blank?

THis is HILARIOUS...last week i was folding the music newsletters in my school and there is a bunch of grade nines helping me out. Here is the funny part: Then this cute grade nine chinese girl got a paper cut and she screamed OUUUUCH that hurt soo much. Lol then i looked at her and say: YoooOOoo, a gun shot hurt much much more. Then she screamed at me: NOoOOo u lie!! Papercut HURTs the most...it is a CUT U KNOW...A CUT!! WTF?

Lower power practice round? is that plastic bullet?
-
what is steriod?
-
so how does MILES work?

I am going to the LaserQuest next friday with my school's music council. I been to the army before fired real guns and knows most of the hand signals and tactics. So how is the gun like in LQ, how accurate/crap is it? Must the laser hit the sensor in order to score or it works by infrared. My friend tells me it works by IR so when u are further from the target, the IR beam will spread and easier to score. What are some of the techniques and tips for first time player cos I want to KICK ASS there. I am in Canada BTW.
-
OMFG and the VEST is lit? how the heck are u suppose to use tactics here? even navy seals get their ass kicked in dark room lit vest. SHould I use the aluminium foil trick or use the REAL army style, hit the enemy with the butt of the gun?
-
Can u see the laser?
-
WTF?? NO running jumping or CRAWLING? U WALK??! And how does loosening ur vest help?

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">15. Explain Le Chateliers Principle of Dynamic Equilibrium -OR- spell your name in BLOCK LETTERS. <span id='postcolor'> In 1888 Henri-Lewis Le Chatelier (1850 - 1936) a French industrial chemist made the observation: "Any change in one of the variables that determines the state of a system in equilibrium causes a shift in the position of equilibrium in a direction that tends to counteract the change in the variable under consideration." Perhaps it would be better to have a less direct quote. Simply put, Le Chatelier's Principle states that a system in equilibrium responds to any stress by restoring the equilibrium. This, of course, implies that we're dealing with a dynamic equilibrium. In chemistry we are dealing with reactions, and at equilibrium, the forward and reverse reaction rates are equal. Let's consider a simple reaction below: CO + H2O <======> CO2 + H2 If the reaction is in equilibrium, the two rates are equivalent. Notice I'm using the symbol <=====> as the double arrows that indicate equilibrium. If we were to inject some more CO into the reaction mixture, the rate of the forward reaction would go up, while at least at first, the rate of the back reaction would be constant. CO and H2O would be used up producing CO2 and H2. At some point in time, the concentrations of CO2 and H2 will have increased slightly, and the concentrations of CO and H2O will have decreased so that the rates of the forward and reverse reactions are again equal. Hence, the system will have come back to equilibrium. We could illustrate this by the plot of concentrations below. At some time we inject the CO and note the changes in concentration over time of the various reactants. When the concentration changes are complete, the ratio [O2]]H2] / [CO][H2O] will be the same that it was in the beginning. We can also describe the process we've looked at above as "shifting" the equilibrium. If we add one reactant, such as CO, we cause a shift in concentrations until the whole system is back in equilibrium. We can describe this in a table as shown below. I'm going to use some bogus initial concentrations for the various reactants since I don't have a clue as to the actual value of Keq in this case. LeChatelier's Principle Compounds CO H2O CO2 H2 Initial 3.0 M 3.0 M 2.5 M 2.5 M Addition add 0.5 M no addition no addition no addition New Conc 3.5 M 3.0 M 2.5 M 2.5 M New Equilib 3.5 M - x 3.0 M - x 2.5 M + x 2.5 M + x Notice that I've kept this example very simple. I've assumed that we initially put 5.5 M of both CO and H2O into the container and that 2.5 M of both CO2 and H2 were formed when the system came to equilibrium, leaving 3.0 M of the reactants. At some time we add 0.5 M of CO to the mixture. This causes the rate in the forward direction to increase. Since the stoichiometry of the equation requires that we use up one H2O for every CO, and that we produce one CO2 and one H2 for every CO, we can use x to symbolize the amount of these compounds formed or used up. Since you know the concentrations in the initial equilibrium mixture your should be able to solve for Keq, and then, once you know this value, you should be able to use some algerbra and actually solve for x. You'll have to use a quadratic equation to get to this. One of the most important applications of LeChatilier's Principle comes in the manufacture of ammonia.

Hi guys...this is mine first post so please be nice to me haha. I have come across the term GI quiet regularly and I am not sure what it stands for. Does it stands for : General Infantry? Another question is that I watched the movie Heartbreak Ridge by Clint Eastwood and I really liked the Jungle hats those soldiers wear and I found a place online that sells them: Army Jungle Hats So which one looks the best? Cos next week school is starting and I want to get a new hat. Are those hat OK to wear to school? Does it look weird or crap?

What does gi stands for and are army jungle hat
AMDOpteron replied to AMDOpteron's topic in OFFTOPIC
So what is the difference between a boonie and jungle hat. How are they used differently in the army?
