    Triggers

    I was restarting the 1985 campaign and the first level (besides the training) the other infantry squad crashed and everyone died (it tried landing on the forest). Â as a result, the trigger never went off and i never got the briefing at the trees i did the -endmission cheat to see if it was just that level, and guess what...the computer controlled squads just stood around and did nothing on the next one. its been awhile since ive played and ive long forgotten what version i have, but i do have resistance. any help would be appreciated.

    1st/3rd person problems

    has anybody else noticed that the standard reticle is not matched between 1st and 3rd person views? it stays in the same location relative to ur screen (it will be the same spot on both) but b/c the view changes, the cursor is pointing at something completely different even though it is in the same spot. try it sometime if u havent already...try an easy map like steal the car or something...and try to beat it in 3rd person with no iron sight, using a standard sight...its much harder (if they go prone u basically gotta put the cursor so that it IS NOT over the soldier...weird)...or point it at something like a house and fire in both views and look where it hits i think playing the single player stuff in 3rd person makes the game more enjoyable (u can see all the movements and whats going on around you), but it is actually harder cause u cant aim...yes, u can use the iron sight, but if ur gonna do that u may as well play 1st person. maybe bis could address this? who knows...reply however u want

    How to use this stuff below

    Bandit65, to make an injured man under ur command heal....u first call up his menu and choose "action" (i think its 6) and under it near the top is "heal at medic" or some other object....this has the same affect as if he commands u to do it...the medics runs to the guy and the guy goes to him... this is how i do it, there may be other ways

    Games portraying the "real horrors of war"

    im not for seeing the true horrors of war, but what i would like to see is that the injuries actually "do" more then just hurt ur aim or mobility. i had a tank shot land just behind and threw me to the ground...my character then screamed out for about a second...but after that i just kept on crawling as if nothing happened and hid in a bush or when u hit a guy in the shoulder with an m16 and he just keeps running as if nothings happened... or when ur injured lying on the ground, and a medic runs over, does his thing, and leave....u dont see a discouraged or infuriated look on his face or anything. ive seen an AI get shot flipping out a LAW...put it away...go prone...stand back up...get shot again....and once more again and fall over dead...all in a few seconds...it looked so fake i almost thought it was a glitch or something the game didnt mean to happen i guess what im asking for is for more convincing sounds (if ur not healed by a medic and got hit in the hand maybe u wince a little and try to shake off the pain) and that the AI be more involved with the mood of the game instead of a moving target that looks human. jus my 2 cents worth
