Hello I wanted to change my forum name so i changed emails and re registred but with my new account i can only veiw the boards not post or edit my personal info. Is this a problem i did with registring or something else ?

Multiple times i can log in fine with the other account and change emails but i cant post edit profile info send PM's etc... maby you can delete both user names and i can register again ? i dunno

the new one is called Azz [GUN] but ichanged emails so how do you know i have 2 accounts ? also i was going to ask for this one deleted after other one worked. tryed to PM you bit that wasnt working either.

dosent the onplayerrespawnassegull.sqs work ? or some werid name like that cant you write a script and throw that in your mission so people who die in you mission can have a chase cam or something.. / just a thought.

So i find a target in my sight's....line him up and fire...but what happens the bullet lands offset from the center of the Cheveron now this is verry verry annoying. why does this happen ?

A Missed shot can mean life or death... Hence when you only have 1 shot to do the job and it goes offset for no apparent reason it is annoying... i can be lying flat on the desert and it still happens.

How can i have in say param 2 place a few weapons then you select what weapon people will use then...they will use it when i addWeapon Param2 it dosent work. not sure why cant seem to fix it.

So im playing the campaign and kitting out all my men with weapons now obviously weapons like the Steyr Aug G36 XMS Have a advantage to the Players as they can use the sight's with them accordingly to get better shot's and also the SVDDragunov and M21 are good for players too But these 2 weapons also Help the AI with there sight's Because they are classed as sniper rifiles. hence AI shoot further with them Yet I dont see any performance diiffarence with my AI if i have one with the Steyr or or one with the AK74 they both seem to perform the same. so what im wondering do these weapons make a difference to the AI or is it just a veriaty of choice to the player. SO do these weapons all have different aspects that are better than another about them Like does the HKG3 thave an advantage over the HK if for AI use or player use ?

I hope someone can help me here i guess it isnt really strictly OFP Related but i know some people who can do 3D models come here. The Main Question is about polygons. and vertice indices and vertice normals. Right say i have my 3 vertex indices values for my polygon now for that i need to calculate the normal value for the relating vertex I Hope someone understands what i mean. im not rightly sure i do hehe.

Hello All Just wondering where is a good place to go to get started in making new weapons ? Tutorials etc... ? and to do the modeling part of the weapon what do i need ? I know there is the what is it oxygen or something from BIS but thats isnt public yet. so can someone just give me on info on whats possible at the moment and what i need to do it ?

Hmm I also had a problem such as this well not the same I pressed alt and told my squad to look a certain direction i was wating to ambush them tanks that attack you on that large tank mission but the looked the opposite way...

I ran in to the barn and got the AK74 CZ and shot them loaded all there weps and ammo in to the URAL ambushed the spetz and did the same then drove for dear life with tank shells landing near me

The only cehciles you seem to keep are tanks from that mission where you steal them...I drove them ammo trucks back on the first mission but i only got the weapons from them... best way to do it is get your guys to pick up weapons thats how to keep them but vehclies it seems only in certian missions you keep them

It said in the readme of resistance that in the campaign your soldiers get better the more they fight more experienced like.... so if you keep them alive they get better and better... I managed to keep 12 men alive throughout most of the campaign and everyman apart from my 2 medics had RPG Launchers my medics had sniper rifels Doing it again for the third time just seeing alll different ways to do the campaign it's good

I think BIS is doing the right thing at the moment by not releasing these tools to the general public sure I cant wait to get my hands on the terrain editor... and make some masterpeices but then again you dont want lot's and lot's of new islands popping up everywhere half finished things tiny pointless ones. etc... Sure it would be a good idea to make islands for specific purposes such as a Sector Control or CTF...I have many many ideas for this. But untill then we can do with what we have

Well, From all these result's it seems to be that you need a lot of RAM and a fast processor for OFP:R to run nicely im thinking the new island uses a heck of a lot of RAM and the improved graphics does too. It seems multiplayer can run at higher graphics spec than Single Player mode and thecampaign... I think that would be the use of script's and a lot more AI... Which causes thats slowness So if you have been playing OFP:R for any length of time say 3 hours or so in a row, well then go put on the kettle as you will have time for a cup of tea before it eventually shut's down. it's definatley a RAM Killer. Well it's good to know my PC isnt broken... Just a lack of RAM

What about CPU benchmark ? and is there a big difference between Direct 3D and Direct 3D HW T&L ?
