FAMAS? Yeah. As part of an International Pack. But that'd unbalance stuff in NATO's favour so we'd need a Russian Pack to go with all the FAMAS and L85. Less range and accuracy than an L85 but actually works is the general description for a FAMAS, right?

Commanche is pointless, the game already has the Apache Same with the Huey - use the Kiowa or BlackHawk. Better to save it for worthwhile addons like a Harrier GR7

yeah, but I think that the civilian version would add more to the game, unless they did an International Upgrade with German, Brit and French units.

It works out like: "Can we have British/German units, I like to play as my country" "Its USA - deal with it - no 2nd rate european stuff" "UK has Stuff-X thats actually better" "USA has the best stuff" "Err, no. USA's X is crap, UK has better stuff X" "Its always brits with their stupid claims"

its usually the American "hey look, the M1 in OFP 0wnz the T80 so USA iz l33ter than Europe u guyz suxz coz u iz small" attitude that gets Brits to come out with "Actually, you're forgetting us, Germany and Russia when you say that Equipment-X and Squad-X is the best" stuff. The comment on this thread was out of order, but in other situations its a response people get used when to responding to US flag-waving. And in a game where we play America when we want NATO, what do you expect? What would you think if, maybe, it was a British or German outpost with G3, L85, Challangers, Leopards etc. and only a couple of American things for a "Oh yeah, and then some americans turned up as part of nato" thing for the plot?

Brits tend to say that the British armed forces are so good because of the constant american flag-waving that often goes on. Not so much on this forum, where it happens only occasionally, but in quite a few others it does. And whats wrong with the SAS being called the best in the world, when they have the best past record?

LR110 !!! The 110 has 9-10 (depending on the over-the-gearstick-miniseat) seats so its practical in comparison to a Hummvee And you could do army 110 hard-top soft-top and top-down with gun. Those things are great. A mate of mine's got a B reg (thats '84 btw) Defender 110 thats done 400,000 miles and its going strong.

Yeah, alternative nationality equipment is always easy for flaming. One little comment and Yank patriotism blows the thread up LR110's all the way!!! Of all the countries whose armies could be added, Britain is the best plot-wise and equipment wise. a bayonet fitted to the rifles? Interesting, but I don't know if the weapons in the game have bayonet fixtures. Also, although the fitting animation could be the mortar animation it would need loads of new stabbing animations

Iron Eagle; the Abrams uses many NATO-standard parts, also used on the Challanger and Leopard tanks. An F-22 vs. Eurofighter? AFAIK the Eurofighter has at least everything the F22 does, except for stealth. The M16 has been around for almost as long as the AK47, long enough to refine the errors, the L85 hasn't been around that long so its naturally going to have glitches that haven't been fixed, although ideally they wouldnt be there to start, many would only happen in time. Soon2B 2nd LT; delta force is indeed an elite unit, however when compared to others in performance records, in this case the SAS, it is not as elite as all their biased documentaries claim.
