There are two. One for EAST and one for RESISTANCE. Providing that the ROK units are Resistance, if you look at the East units you will see that they wear the ROK flag not the DPRK flag. Thats my confusion. Also DPRK units dont use Daewoo weapons. However, it's an addon worth keeping.

In the process of making missions with the OFrP addons. Hopefully, if time allows I will be able to pass it on to you guys for a test run. I am no mission guru as some of you but it's better than nothing eh?

Recently, I noticed the 'cartoony' look of some addons being made. (the super assassins with slick hair, the Super Marine chopper from OFrP mod etc) Not that its bad, but gives us another aspect of gaming. Keep up the good work guys!

Mission Editing tips: Always use the 'ADVANCED' mode in the editor. As for the chopper starting in the air: Type in the init box: this flyInHeight X (sets the pilot to fly in that height throughout its flight. (this being the chopper, X being height) If you want the chopper to start at a certain height immediately: Type in the init box: this setpos [getpos this select 0,getpos this select 1, X] (You can alter this by typing a name of the chopper instead of the 'this') Ofcourse, do not forget to use the 'Flying' option. Don't forget to use ";" if you are typing more than one code. Hope this helps.

Another spam... Great work! Keep it up! As BI forum member stated. Gives us yet another option to build a scenario. Almost as vital as the mission itself I believe to set the tone. Bah..I'm getting old...politics creeping into my brain.

I could be wrong but the tall bush is from the resistance patch. So that rules out the Everon, Malden, and Kogujev, and ofcourse the desert island. Which leaves us with Nogova. Perhaps the, 'objects' used in the background were placed manually by the creator? Just a thought.

Pilots be a pilot Infantry be an infantry Tankers be a tanker I do realize that every now and then, that we all want to fly the chopper to the insertion area or provide some CAS instead of doing all the hard work on the ground. But, I really believe that slots should be allocated to specialized slots by each players. (Democracy doesn't fit in this system but we are all human beings with courtesy in mind) In saying that, I do thoroughly enjoy cooperative missions as opposed to Deathmatches or Capture the flag games. I prefer the maps to force all the players to work as one team. Gel within your MP players to achieve that one and the same goal, to get the objectives done and return home safely, hopefully all in one piece. I do agree with most of the guys that posted here about the intros in the missions. It's rather annoying no matter how great the intro was made if its long and you are on the 3rd or the 4th try at the mission. Random patrols Enemy support units Informative mission briefings Friendly forces in the AOR (if possible) Logistics support (if on long coops) Combat medic is a must Limiting the number of addons required (yes, we DO need the new addons but I have faith in you folks to come up with excellent scripting) Respawn = O, nil, none, never (adds to realism) My 2 cents... 868 EDIT: Kagetys after death script is a must too =] -

First car: Acura Integra (old model) circa 89' Bought it at an auction. It was basically a lemon. Had to get a rebuilt auto-transmission costed more than the car itself, AC didnt work due to a leak which would have cost me more money. Front left axel fell off its place while going up an ramp doing a left turn. Also experienced my first car theft with this one. The guys stole my CD changer, player, amp, and yes even the cigarrette lighter from the car! Bonus: the car was locked back once they took its contents. Second Vehicle: Jeep Grand Cherokee 99' No bad experiences 'xept the near accident on the off ramp. Skidded three cars down bracking preventing myself from rear ending a stationary dodge truck. Sold it due to relocation.

Before I say anything negative, good job on the addons! I encountered a 'bug' while testing them out. (Could be just me, or my settings-I hope so for the sake of the addons) If this is an isolated problem on my part please excuse this post. The rotors on the helicopters are on 'rotating' animation even if its parked. Is this something you have noticed and/or fixing it as we speak. I know that this addon is not yet complete, but just giving some input from devout OFP fan. I would like to see the units 'side up' with the same side. In the final version. As others mentioned here. i.e.-West,Resistance. Which ever side no matter as long as they are on the same 'team' so to speak. Keep up the great work gentlemen/sir.

As the topic states. Pardon me, but I know that USMC website has it on its 'vehicle' section and the addon maker from CAF made the Griffon for their mod. I heard that someone was making the Marines or other various versions/texturing for it. Is there one out somewhere that I cannot find or is it not out? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I remember in one of the MODs, there was a chopper with radio messages when in transit. I forget which MOD-Helo it was from. But it did make me wonder why this wasnt an in-built feature in OFP at the time.

Hello all, Here is my problem. When I load the game its gives me this message; "Cannot load ..........yadi yada BIS_resistance." Could anyone please tell me which pbo file/folder is the BIS resistance? Thanks in advance.

To placebo, It loads a mission. Also, within the mission editor when you choose the class type and the soldier type in the resistance side you dont get the 'Sniper' soldier. I think its due to this BIS_resistance thing.

Nah, I have that. I also copy and pasted from the original CD into my OFP/Res/Addons folder just in case. Weird.

The hair is the master piece. Hair is super gelled so you never have a 'bad hair do' Hair covers your pasty white face for night ops [or the scalp] He wears ultra sleek space material body suit [lets pretend ] Plus he has silenced weapons as standard with a sidearm. Not to mention the matching cool babe with halo kit. All in all good job and to the guys (gals?) who made this addon possible. I would like to see more of similar addons with such quality and suitable 'hair do's One day once enough addons have been made by the same author/group you guys could become a mod. Thanks again. EDIT: If my girlfriend says that they are 'cool' then that means more time for me for OFP! This is the 'cherry on top..'

Ill say that this addon by philcommando, is great. This addon by far is the best non-military soldier addon (is there a category?). Looks great and works fine. The ultra cool 60's retro agents meets Guba's men. Or some crazy Biological Scientist bent on world domination... Kind of think of it, the 'Thunderbirds' movie comes into my mind looking at these 'men/women.' Great work, philcommando.
