This mission is pretty tough i agree, but fun! They just seem to pour infantry onto the beach and nearby rocks, i dont see how a small squad could stop them without taking out the BMPs first. Surely the best thing is to stay away from the M2's, they get targetted by both the bombardment and the infantry/BMP's.

On all those missions where the easiest way was to steal a helicopter and destroy everything, did anyone else simply eject over the mission end point and enjoy the view as you parachuted to the mission end point?!

I first bought OFP off the back of one of the many excellent reviews around its release date. Unfortunately, my laptop didnt have a graphics card, but knowing next to nothing about computers at the time, this didnt deter me. I had to play the game on the lowest possible settings, and visibility on my 14" TFT screen was next to nothing, especially in the dusk/night missions. To be honest, I thought this was designed into the game just to add to the "fog of war", i couldnt see enemies over 75m away, but i still loved the game and managed to complete the campaigns (including Red Hammer) relatively quickly (despite struggling for a while on After Montignac, as we all did!. Anyway, i think this is the ultimate challenge, playing on a platform that is hopelessly out of date but just manages to play the game. Resisitance was simply too much for my laptop, but i now enjoy OFP on a beautful 19" screen, and with a graphics card!
