I uninstalled the Logitech mouse software/drivers and let windows configure the mouse. The mouse now works as I want it to in OFP except for 1 of the 5 btn's isnt recognized. But I only use 4 btn's anyway. My old mouse was a Logitech optical and it worked great with the Logitech software loaded up. You'd think as technology gets more advanced, all the devices would work in harmony with each other

Win XP home New mouse- logitech MX 700 wireless mouse, plugged into PS/2 port per the instructions along with my logitech wireless keybd. old mouse was logitech optical OFP ver. 1.96 My problem is only with OFP, mouse works great with other programs. My mouse scroll button doesnt work like my old mouse did (which was plugged into the USB port) Also, OFP control panel wont let me assign "Optics" to one of my side buttons on the mouse. I had the side btn on my old mouse assigned to optics. Any help greatly apprciated THANX
