I enjoyed your first two mission as sqm files. I've been working on a helicopter mission myself involving a young Russian pilot named Sergi who is a MI24 gunner in a mission dubbed "Hind sight is always 20/20". Its almost done except for implementing the camera work and dialogue i'd like to add. I could use some help with cut scenes. They would add flavor to what is only a 20min mission.-if done correctly. People here have helped me with object placement, but i still cant get the secretary (Sergi's girlfreind) to sit in a chair and use the phone.-i've tried all the obvious, but to no avail.:( It took me awhile, but i figured out how to slow the Helo down so i can actually shoot something. Set the waypoints to "careless"-obvious, yes i know. 110-who is also working on a resistance sniper mission

I've used a pbo extractor and placed a mission into my user/missions file. The computer tell me it has a square intead of =. How can i convert a pbo mission into a sqm file and alter a mission or see how they did a trick in the scripting? 110

I use both third and first person view. Third is better for landing so you can see below you better. It too me about 2-3 days to get used to it. I hate the Mi17, espicially after that Bastage of a mission called "Grounded". It flys like a train. The Kiowa and the Cobra are my two most favorite choppers. The blackhawk has decent control. If my home computer was hooked-up online, i would love to fly in MP. My landings are getting better and faster all the time with a good chopper. East needs better, more manueverable Heli's. Mi24 is only good chopper they have in game. Joystick for Heli's Mouse for jets and flying rocket trains (mi17) 110

I downloaded these two alternate maps. eveything seems fine, but there is an odd patch of untextured ground here and there. particularly in Winter Everon which i really like. Is this just a sign of a faulty download, or can i fix it somehow? I had this problem with Iquisitors Flashlight soldiers too. Does anyone know what causes this? Anyone else experience this? 110 who wants to walk the frozen land

A fellow gamer installed the Gold upgrade, but is not benifing from the new campaign and equipment. What could cause this? He says that when he installed it that everything seemed to go ok. Please if possible, provide more then one solution. Have already recommended reinstalling the original game. 110

My only complaint about sniping in OFP is that the higher powered rifle cartridges aren't treated as being more powerfull in the game. For a US sniper tech manual http://www.biggerhammer.net should have one. A high position-the most obvious sniper position, is not always the best position. I enjoy sniping and no other game that i know of comes close to the sniping heaven of OFP. If there is will someone tell me please, and no Ghost Recon is not sniping heaven. Too unrealistic. The AK-74, nor any other version of it used officially by any com bloc country come equipped with a flash suppressor. It is equipped with a muzzle compensator that reduces muzzle rise and felt recoil. This compensator is very effective and has become popular enough to appear on other rifles. even the AR-15. Its only drawback is that it creates a louder report then a "naked" muzzle. To be even more accurate a Muzzle Brake reduces recoil and a Muzzle Compensator reduces muzzle climb. if a Comp/brake does both then i guess it doesn't matter what you call it. or at least this is what i have discerned from shooting message forums. I've never used the AK-74 type, but on a Hungarian AK i used to have, i attached a Smith Enterprises Muzzle Brake. It tamed the sharper recoil of the 7.62x39mm noticeably. Sound Suppressors are legal in the United States. It will cost you $200 for the ATF tax stamp. The last priceing i did for a pistol was about $900 for a new one. im sure the more advanced ones will set you back a'bit. Olympic arms sells threaded barrels for most popular pistols. The AK-47cz is actually not a Kalishnikov type weapon. Its actually called a VZ-58. Its different internally. i cant remember what was different, i'll have to check my CZ-75 book as it covers the history of other famous CZ firearms. The Russians wanted it to use the same magazines as their Kalishnikov's, but the Czech's were free to come up with their own action for the rifle. The AK-74 is better in the game IMHO and in real life according to Dr. Martin Facklers ballistic report. 110

I've been fiddling with the airbase on Malden. I have added a coutple of aircraft hangers sporting an SU-25 in each. in the first hanger is a secretary in the office. in front of her is a desk with lamp. i have tried to place a computer on the desk in front of her, but it lands on the floor along with my phone which i cant place either. How can i set the height of these two items to be placed upon the secretary's desk to help her earn her pay. Apparently Helicopters, especially the Hinds wont fit into the hanger, they just bounce around like crazy. the Kiowa might... I've also added other items to my nifty new hangers such as a tool closet and stacked crates. too bad someone doesn't have a bomb or missle rack. that'd be keen Is there a way to add a chair and have little miss Russia seat herself comfortably for her 10hr shift? 110

Let's also not forget that the Japanese were also experimenting with Biological weapons on the Chinese. The Bio weapons project was also to be used as a weapon against the allies, particularly the US. The Japs even launched a test flight onto US soil via a balloon. The US wanted the Jap Bio research at the end of the war and exhanged charges of war crime for what the japs had invented. Today there is a museum about this in Japan. why not just use the FFAR's from the Hind to destroy the fuel truck? Head back home and take the afternoon off. Kick back with a bottle of Vodka and play cards with your comrades. The campaign im working on is "Russian Tank Hunt" in wich a Hind Gunship or the SU-25 (or both) is sent to repel the "Yankee" forces from setting up a temporary base on the Beach to the south of Malden. im currently adding Hinds full of Soviet troops to land a distance away from the American base and mop up American ground forces after the Gunship and SU-25 have had its fun. While this is going on an American Blackhawk helicopter is loading up troops to evacuate the area while a squad of M1a1 abrams and US AA tank defend against the Russians and try to hold the small town on the beach front. 110
