Made a little "addon" for mission designers, addon makers and others that may want it.. Download is around 2 kb so hope people with 56.6 dont think its too much. maybe can delete some code and make a smaller version later ;) Download: SFP_EditorGuy (2 kb) Readme.txt

since there been many posts that sound like "whining" i just wanted to add one that this tool rocks. It really speed up things. But the same i will use many programs.

For unpbo it should be perfect, but i binned some files and tried to use the pbo packer, got error message it could "acesses" the p3d file?

Nothing can stop you now... includes basic config to get you started with airplanes, cars, tanks, weapons, objects, animations. There is "sample models" thought could be good with some configs aswell. If you new to configs and stuff, check out the readme for some simpel help. granQ Basic Config 8 kb

ohh yes this would rock, started working on one myself, but never got it any good, very hard to get it to "merge" on the island. Too bad the tunnels is hard to use "all round", since everything more or less need to fit with the surrouding. Need any more help ?

i dont see why we cant have a own thread for this, totaly diffrent kinds of pictures so far, more pure ones. in the end its up to Placebo and the others to decide and so far they havnt closed this one.

Working on a alternative tracer that will made free for everyone to use, modify and sell, print and use on the toliet and so on. No need to contact me for using it.. you get the idea. It works a bit diffrent when it comes to "when show tracer" then other tracer scripts. You only add a eventhandler to run the first script when fired, no need to type like "red, 4,5,9" exec "script". A easy way to describe it is that each time you fire, no matter what kind of weapon you have at start, or pickup ingame the script is running. Then it makes a check what kind of ammo it is, something like this, you fire with the m60.. script starts Check ammo and number of rounds in mag. Ammo = m60 i then do a check on the number of rounds in mag with mod. 50 mod 5 = 0 If its 0 then i show the tracer, 48 mod 5 = 3 45 mod 5 = 0 This creates a tracer for every 5:th round you fire. Then you pic up a m16, you dont use the tracer mag for this normaly, but instead you have loaded with the 3 last bullets with tracer round so you get a signal when you out of ammo.. 4 > 12 (rounds in mag) = no, 4 is not bigger then 12, no tracer 4 > 2 (rounds in mag) = yes, 4 is bigger then 2.. show tracer. Very simpel idea, "but how does the tracer looks like" then you wonder. Well, how do you want them? Infact its very easy to change the drop model. Wolfbane did a "smoke" clould, and i belive bn880 did a custom model.. and thats why people said "good looking script", but this things are easy to create. Now i need some help with research. M60, PK, m16, ak74.. all bis weapons, what kind of tracer and how often? Note that this script is also very easy to use in missions == no addons needed.

thats kinda the point for my script.. PK can have one type of tracers, ak74 another, smaller one.. and of course if you take a AK74 or a m16 it will use the right type, and it doesnt give tracers if you use law and other stuff.. and if ammo miss one or two, doesnt matter. Its proven more then "exact" enough, and who will "fuck i didnt get a tracer on round 45 but on 40" when you firing 200 bullets?

very very dark picture, but "old school" mission, no NVG's just the light that is coming from flare and such.. Guy infront double mounted Browning Light Machince guns observing three shadows running over the hill.. just a brief second from the fire to start the heart beats gets faster.. Mr Burns, i guess your body is flying in one of the pictures? and oak, lovely when you get the choppers take of that nice when you heading out for trouble ;)

like the other said, to have unedited pictures. Not fun when you got a real nice picture shown and then somebody take a "bad" picture and edit it so it looks better then yours., havent you noticed that all addons looks so damn good, but the one you play with never those? what you forget that is then you been in the wood for 2 weeks and could fall in love a tree if it just had shapes. actually i hope you pull this off, its sad too see the "yeah girls i can kiss" but then you have to understand guys like me have spent like all saturdays nights infront of o2 and config.cpp instead of beer and girls. So just a female face can wake up the "spirit". Worest part is that like every guy want a special girl in and post links.. this thread have a highrisk to get ruined. now more on "subject". What the talk about no "girls animation for running, firing" and so on. The girls i served with all runned the same, in school they also sprinted the same way (okey boobs sometimes moves, and they got long hair.) but its not really something that affect realism or not. Infact if you want boobs moving (thats the only thing i can say is diffrent) then maybe you should start look for animations that make the soldier breath... keep on working.. PS. There is nothing wrong with pretty girls, many girls are very pretty but please remove the makeup and consider making girls with camo -

thats why i started a new thread. So edited pics go into one and those like me that prefer unedited pictures use this thread instead.

MetalMalte, totaly OK to change the seize as long you dont the change the picture. Like use sharper effect in photoshop. Nice pictures, if i only had the money for VBS..

SFP: 4.0 in progess, Animation by redkid. Wilco, later this thread isnt for comments. "Dogma" was a project in Denmark when they decided some rules for film making, like only handheld cameras no sound effects added after in studio.. and so on. This thread is for all of us that dont like the editing, usage of filters that makes stuff look better then they actually are. Like pictures of hamburgers on McDonalds..

BMP 2 vs M1A1... I always take bmp or bmp2 when there is one free, voted on BMP since its been in longer. Favorit mission is south control with alot of armor fightning. Protect the valley on south everon with your friends. T80 defense and then my deadly bmp2 (both for them and for me) runs down in fullspeed to new objective, paus and fire a AT missile towards incoming threat.. lovely.

thats what i planed to make it look like (or actually i was just fooling around in o2). It works with some textures set to shining. Gonna test more to see if i can get it work "nicer", make so engine, exhaust part lights up more and tracks not so much, might come another screen later..

I got this boat, and made a script for createvehicle stuff, all work perfect but since you cant create mines i have no idea how to solve it. Making water mines to be put in the water. So give me some brainstorming, guess, or tell something that works, i just need ideas.

hmm.. why does my boat blow up then? could it be some "bug" with the standard models, or mass not big enough? for my boat really blows when i go over mines.

agree.. Of course i thinks okey to use dxdll and such, but not working with the screenshot. so somebody feel for start a new thread with some "dogma" rules/guidelines..

A enemy bmp is spotted thru the gunners sight on the Strv122. Totaly unedited picture. Addons: SFP strv122 (not released), island the very nice Bear Lahta.

But combined with a sound message it would be great! *last shot* "Hmmm I think my magazine is empty" 20 seconds later "Hmmm I think my magazine is empty" or someting like that I don't think it would be good to have the player say that his magazine is empty, because i don't think in reality a trained soldier would say aloud to himself that he is out of ammo. But I do agree that you should hear the click of the firing mechanism. that is exactly what you supposed to do. Scream loud as hell (dont know what americans, britts are trained to say) something like "magazine", and then you reload, your combat friend knows you out of ammo so he "covers", and then you say "done" or fire 2 rounds.. (atleast thats what our officers learnt us.. if its global i have no idea)
