    Party

ok, is it me Jamesia or do the bunny's eyes flash red? Â I think a party would be great but one of the most attractive parts of OFP and OFP2 has nothing to do with the game. It's the OFP community!!! Have a party online! That way anyone could "attend" Being from the USA, skippin' over the ocean to attend a release party would be, how should I say...frikken impossible!! Post an IP, port, and PW, and let people from the community, no matter what country, attend! There could be special content (addons or whatever) for those that attended to download and use in the game. Lets say, faces or armpatches, or maybe vehicles with special tags on them. Something silly like that would go a long way in the community and think of the bragging rights!!!! So you're in a MP game, you hear this rumble and an APV or something rolls up with a big "OFP Veteran" flag or patch on the door and these soldiers jump out with different uniforms or different faces and start OWNING the place. Give the people (unlike myself) who've been around for the long haul something special for their devotion!! Sound like a plan...? No? Well can I get T-shirt or something then?? hahaha Â

    Speakers

for my pc: onboard AC'97 5.1 Creative T2900 speakers home: Kenwood 6.1 @ 700 wats Kenwood 150 watt sub all speakers are mismatched pairs- I have Pioneers, Infinities, and Kenwoods Started out as one of those "home theaters in a box" and I've upgraded the speakers and amp. Not nearly the best but my neighbors called our local Civil Defense unit twice already. Once during Braveheart and once during Black Hawn Down. I can just imagine the look on poor Mrs. Mankosi's face when she heard Irish and Scottish people screaming and thought we were being invaded!!! Oh, and answering the door in your skivvies when there's a dude with a semi-auto standing there is NOT FUNNY

    Operationg flashpoint resistance unplayable

For me anyway, I've ruled out graphics cards, drivers, all graphics settings and BIOS related settings of same, number and size of addons, exe's to start the game, DirectX version, jeez what else...amount of memory, memory slots, mobo manufacturer, chipset, CPU manufacturer, and power supply. Having a 2nd pc with almost exact opposite specs as my pc helped me determine it wasn't any of these things because I can successfully recreate the problem 100% of the time on either pc. More to the point, I can get the game to run and I can use all but one of my favorite addons so I'm gonna call it a day and start the countdown to OFP2. Everyone on these boards has been incredibly helpful to those of us unfortunate enough to be having problems, so thanks for all you time and effort!!!

Hey 808, didn't see your pic there... actually not the same, my problem is similar, where I would normally be seeing the Codemasters and BIS splash screens when it's starting, all I see is a green or olive green screen. (same color as the "sky?" in your picture) I can hear the music and when I move my mouse, I hear the clicks as it rolls across the links, that's all. Yes, I've tried older and newer graphics drivers. Being an Nvidia card, I've gone back a few versions to the v41.XX and all the way up to the current versions. As I mentioned, it really seems to be specific to the BAS Tonal/Tango pack, for me anyway. Perhaps I posted in the wrong topic but your problem sounded like mine (until I saw the pic) and the main "Green Screen Problems" topic hasn't been active in a bit so I didn't want to drag that back up. The thing that kills me is that I had an older P.O.S pc that I had been running on v1.92 Beta with the Tonal/Tango packs installed and it was working fine. I'm convinced that it's worse to have seen and played with the addon only to be stuck without it now, than it would have been to never have seen it in the first place. P.O.S pc specs: Athlon XP 2000+ VIA chipset 512MB memory GeForce4 Ti 4200 128MB Win XP home So I was an idiot to get a new pc when my old one was working ok, but I'm a frikken Geek and a lemming so if someone has better/faster tech stuff, I always gotta compete. Look where that got me!! hahaha

Similar problem here - spent the last 4 days trying every tip and suggestion from every post I could find (searched for "green", "olive", and "green screen" - went through them all!!) Â and I'm still having the same problem. P4 2.6Ghz I865 chipset 1GB memory GeForce FX 5600 Ultra (128MB) DX 9.0 latest drivers for EVERYTHING!! v1.94 patched using -nomap, -nosplash and mod folders Win XP Home I have all of the BAS addons EXCEPT Tonal and Tango Packs. Runs fine until I install Tonal/Tango packs and then all I get are green screens when starting up. Now, if I perform a clean install and add ONLY the Tonal/Tango packs, same problem from the get go. If I leave out the Tonal/Tango packs, I can throw in GB's of addons and it runs fine. I'd take any suggestions on how to get this working but if it's already been posted, I've tried it at least twice!!!
