Those first Marines that were inserted into Liberia were not Force Recon, they were part of FAST (Fleet Anti-Terrorist Security Teams). So stop your self for one second and look at a globe. here we have Liberia with a MEU (SOC) in the Med and Pave lows in England. so why put Marines in Pavehawks. well here's the reason. Because along with those airframes you get an STS combat controllers, PJ's and combat weather personnel. so i was not about the location ..it was aircraft and crew ...plus would you really wanna bring in a ch-53 or 47 into an lz that size ?

Gee you mean i have to do this again ..ok in the M1 there is a four man crew ..follow me on this ..driver sits up front the loader and gunner work as a team ..the loader being behind the gunner in the Aft part of the turret basket ...thank you have a nice day oh and BTW the guy in charge of the radio in the M-1 ..is known by the lowly title of TANK COMMANDER

well we have Hawk armed trainers, MD-500's with Tow missles F-5's and F-20's you just have to look at the make up ..and revenue of the country ...lets not forget ..per capita. Quatar has the worlds most powerful airforce ....

will you go with AGM-114 Hellfires ..or TOW's and any word on a AGM-122 Sidearm for the Cobra ?
