Well in Garry's Mod it's still possible to manually install mods downloaded from other distributors after it went to Workshop. The same could apply to ARMA 3. But I'm also betting that BI and Valve are working together to make sure that ARMA 3 doesn't have the same problems with Steam like ARMA 2 does.

I would like to see some Korean War-era units, the Korean War is hardly ever talked about or featured in any games. Imagine driving a M46 or M47 Patton(or Centurion Mk3) against Korean and Chinese T-34/85s. Should I also mentioned that the Korean War saw the first use of helicopters as a way to quickly evac wounded from the battlefield to field hospitals as seen in MASH? -

So will there be any multi-turreted vehicles like the T-35 or T-28 since they saw action during the early stages of Operation Barbarossa? A lot of people seem to forgot that they even existed. -
Well RACs stands for Royal Army Corps of Sahrani which is the military of the fictional NATO-backed country of South Sahrani(And later United Sahrani) which is the setting for ARMA I while the SLA(Sahrani Liberation Army) is the army of North Sahrani which is the primary aggressor in ARMA I. Originally in ARMA I they were severly under armed(No tanks until BI added the T-72 to them with the addition of Warfare and no fixed aircraft) and WLD47 started making this mod to fix that.

I would like to see more desert vehicles for the CDF and the PT-76 to make an appearance because it hardly gets any attention at all.

So are there any chances of the Arena or Shorta Active Defense Systems making an appearance in the future? I recall the OFP version of the T-80 Pack having some variants equipped with them. -
That modernized/upgraded Patton looks awesome, almost reminds me of the Patton 2000 from A1 PRACs. Whatever happened to that thing anyway?

VME PLA MOD for ARMA II

The AA Variant of the JH-7A crashes the game everytime I try to use it in Editor and I get the message: "Cannot Open object vme_jh7a/jh7c.p3d" and when I click the "Continue" button thats when the game crashes to desk top and task manager says the game has stop working and needs to be shut down. However the other variants don't crash the game. -

Not sure if this is intentional or not, but the it seems that the Type 96 can adsorb more damage than the Type 99. -

According to Wikipedia there is over 750 BMPs(1s,2s, and 3s) in active service with over 9,057 in reverse as of 2009. But Wikipedia has been known to be inaccurate so who knows how many are in service today. But do you guys have plans to do the MT-12? It's technically the last Anti-Tank gun in service these days which it what makes it unique although it's used as conventional artillery nowadays. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-12_antitank_gun -

Same here, I've been having trouble finding the CA_Plants addon needed to run some of the ARMA I maps and it's not included in the version of CAA1 I have.

Yeah It says nothing about how to actually get the units inside the trench, it's just a script to get them to act properly. -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henschel_Hs_129 - German ground attack aircraft introduced in 1942 armed with cannons and machine guns and a later variant had a semi-automatic loading PAK 40. That one Stuka variant armed with the gunpods would be nice to see as well. -

I know I have it; but it doesn't have the following: Stryker MGS, HMMWV GPK, HMMWV CROWS, HMMWV SOV, Stryker MEV, Stryker Mortar Carrier, Strykers with SLAT armor, and others I can't think of right now. The pack you're thinking of just uses the ARMA 2 Vehicles, reskinned Bradleys, and the Strykers that were ported from ARMA I and recrewed them with the US Soldiers from OA, it doesn't have any of the OA-specific vehicles and variants. -

So is there any plans to make vehicles like the BM-30 Smerch or S-300? -
I've been looking at the armory for the 1st Marine Division and in terms of heavy armor, it's kind of lacking. The Marines only have access to the Leopard 1A4, the M109, and no Amphibious Attack Vehicles besides the LAV and as it stands right now the Army has more Amphibious capabilities(M113 Family, BMP-2, and the LAV Family) than the Marines, who are supposed to the primary amphibious attack force not the army.

Just the static artillery howitzers, the other artillery assets work fine besides the lack of a artillery computer on some. Only other mods I'm running are CBA, JSRS(Sound mod), Project 1985, inko disposable AT Weapons, and Vilas' Eastern and Western Weapon packs, that's about it. I've tried using it without the mods, but it still does this. -

Mod is great, my only problems are the names of the unit and vehicle categories in Editor makes it hard to identify where specific units are at and the fact that some of the static guns, primary artillery like the Zis don't work(Can't get them to fire or even turn) -

The instructions need to be more specific to where we're supposed to put the scripting line for it to work and what kind of game logic object we're supposed to use(Trigger or Game Logic?) -
