  1. This is unrelated to the RCon change.

BE's netcode changed, i.e. BE packets are now sent/received via the game's network protocol. This might cause problems for BE's ping calculation if the packet exchange is not fast enough (due to other traffic, etc.). As a result, unfortunately BE might no longer be able to provide such a feature in the future.

  2. The 0-bytes overwrite is caused by a bug in the Arma 3 server following "BattlEye initialization failed". The devs are aware of it.

The problem here is missing dependencies. If you check your GLIBC version using "ldd --version" it will probably show 2.13. The new beserver.so needs at least 2.15. Please upgrade GLIBC on your server by following instructions such as these: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10863613/how-to-upgrade-glibc-from-version-2-13-to-2-15-on-debian.

  3. Important notice:

Since last update Battleye is blocking all extensions, so addon relying upon extensions (Map Builder, ACRE, ACE3, etc) won't work with Battleye anymore (even in singleplayer).

I sent a mail to battleye to whitelist the mapbuilder extension but appearently they haven't managed that so far.

There is no way for me to work around this problem. Blame BI and Battleye for adding such stupid/useless "security" feature BEFORE there is a way to whitelist addons.

As for now, Map Builder is officially not supported when used with Battleye running!

Could you confirm that this is fixed now?

  4. I was just wondering since I have the same problem of not being able to get on Arma 2 OA or DayZ SA since i cannot update Battleye as it says 'Does not suport Windows Test Mode'.

I have checked several times whether the Test Mode is enabled in cmd.exe after viewing multiple solutions, and I can assure you it is turned off. However I still continue to get this problem and I think that this is caused by me using F8 after BIOS at the start up to select disable Driver signature enforcement (I have a tp-link wireless adapter to connect me to internet).

Im not sure if this is the cause, therefore can someone please help and tell me whether Disabling Driver Signature Enforcement in Start-up affect Windows Test Mode (does it secretly turn it on somehow; if so why does it not show in cmd.exe)?? Or any suggestions on any other solutions???

It would be greatly Appreciated, especially if viewed by a Developer

    Thank you

Yes, this boot option does the same and hence you can't use it anymore.

  5. No good news for me.

Im using a mouse whose usb rate is 125Hz at standard. im running it at 500Hz that im able to play CS properly.

The problem is that the driver that lets me use the 500Hz is not verified by Microsoft so i have to use the test signing mode.

Really i had so much problems with this battleye. somehow i managed to fix every error every time. i was contacting the bohemia support and was complaining about the user-unfriendlyness of BE.

but this is the complete difference. this is maximum user-unfriendlyness (if thats a word :D)

Some stupid individuals are using cheats and because of this i cannot play a game for what i paid.

I hope there is a solution. and no. i dont want to buy a new mouse.

I'm sincerely sorry for that, but this is one of the measures taken to make the game more resistant against hacks, even if a handful of users are negatively affected by it.

Using test-signing mode is never a good solution anyway (in terms of security as well). Maybe you can find a signed version of this particular driver or ask its creator to sign it?

  6. I solved the problem, so that there are no servers in the browser, restart Winsock.

    Solution:

Click start, in Start search, type cmd, right-click the file cmd.exe and select Run as administrator, and then click Continue.

At the command prompt type netsh winsock reset and press Enter. After you run the command, then restart the computer.

This is only a workaround that works for some users. Also, it might break other software on your system.
