Putin is trying to calm down the chechen conflict. Russia is tired of fighting in chechnya. Its just like in israel. The islamic terrorist groups WANT to keep on fighting. What else are they going to do? What are they going to do in chechnya? Farm? There's no farmable land. Hamas is considered a terrorist group. Why isn't shamil basayev?

I fixed the problem witht he flags. I was trying to free up space for INQ's high def weapons and I accidently deleted flags.pbo

I can't see the finnish flag in the animation, Where do I put the "this setflagtexture?" Why would I put it in a unit's init line? Do I depbo the animaiton file wherever it is and put that in the flagpole's init file? Plus, I don't want to use the flag in a mission. I just want to be able to see it in the starting animaiton

Well, I'm getting better in forgotten battles. Can I have some gunnery tips? I'm hard pressed to get a kill. Max kill each mission I get is 1 plane. No, more specifically, I need advise on deflection shooting and trying to get on the back of the plane. If I manage to get on the tail of the plane 200 meters away from it I can usually total it, but tha's the problem, its hard, especially with early war russian fighters to outspeed german fighters, even when playing around alot with the prop pitch/throttle/mixture settings, but I'm probably just not used to the planes. \Plus, I'm not quite sure how the trim works. Whenever I try and use the aileron trim to keep the nose down, nothing happens. Is it really critical? Sometimes its hard to keep on target with the plane bobbing around, even at super closr range.

A russian invasion of jugoslavia would be stupid and unrealistic. I think they should make an early version of the yugoslavian civil war.

The red army paid mmore of a price than you can even IMAGINE. 26 million people died. Alot of them gassed in the concentration camps, starved in blockaded cities, or if they were lucky, just shot, in battle or not. You always hear about the amount of german women raped by the evil red army. Have you ever heard about the amount of russian women raped by the germans? All of western russia up to moscow was COMPLETELY razed to the ground. In fact, if Leningrad had been captured, Hitler was planing on dynamiting all the buildings and making a new GERMAN city. Imagine, the Hermitage, Petergof, the Admiralty, ALL GONE. It was just under the tremendous resolve of the starving, outnumbered, underequipped russian soldiers that they held the germans off for 4 years. One time in Leningrad under the siege, the curator of the Hermitage decided to celebrate the birthday of Azerbaijan's national poet. He actually gathered quite a few people, but some didn't have the strength to go all the way to the hermitage and died on the way. After one person recited some poetry, although he was strong enough to walk to the museum, he died. The curator, IIRC died too on the way out. People were so weak they couldn't stand up. Yet the soviet soldiers held off the German attacks. In the US, world war II was just another war, costlier than oters, but they consider the civil war and the revolutionary war far more important. In Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine, World War II was probably the most important war. So many died. In every city, there's always a statue or a plaque dedicated to the people who died in that city when the germans took it, or during the occupation, or when soviet soldiers recaptured it. In Sevastopol, I saw at least 5 memorial statues from world war II, and some more from the Crimean war.

Not berlin, but the czech countryside. I am definately not looking forward to central europe. Southeast asia would be boring. I would like africa. Hopefully BIS doesn't know enough about cuba and angola to villainize anyone.

Oh goody, now the czechs are gonna halt the soviet invasion, even though in real life, the warsaw pact only lost one man, a bulgarian, from enemy fire, and then the glorious czech army under their victorious leader shall march onto moscow and be greeted with food and flowers. I seriously will regain my faith in BIS if they don't depict russians as baby-eating rapist animals

I hope it would not be the soviet invasion of czechoslovakia, because it will probably show heroic czech citizens gunning down thousands of hapless, retarded soviet soldiers. In fact, only one soldier died from the hands of czech citizens in Prague- a bulgarian soldier. The other 19 died from traffic acciednts, and some committed suicide. Relatively few czechs died either. It was a bloodless action. However, prague spring was in 1968 so thats a bad sign.
