Seems cool, except the last part. I absolutely abhor missions with full respawn. IMHO not having respawn is one of the things that differentiate OpFlash from most run of the mill plain "shooters". If you respawn into another team member - OK, at least it doesn't allow you to just keep rushing troops without really thinking. But full respawn -

Update: As expected, 1.90 does not fix this error. Any comment from BIS on this?

I should add that Angry Raddish and I have been discussing this further, and it seems like there's not much that can be done to solve this problem. Fresh reinstalls of the OS do not help (tried with multiple variants of Windows, 9x, 2k, XP) and neither does changing NICs. So apparently some other hardware incompability with the Windows Dedicated Server is to blame. However, what DOES seem to work is to install linux or FreeBSD on the same hardware and run the linux dedicated server on either of those operating systems. Weird indeed.

SpaceAlex is correct. You need unique keys. You've bought a license for one copy of the game, not a multiuser license.
-
Well, then someone else is using a copied/pirated key.

I'm having the same problem, only one NIC installed though. What kind of NIC are you using? I'm using a 3Com 3C905C-TC For complete management.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I need to thank LDD Blake for some of the best coop missions I've ever played! (I think what Blake is referring to is that leadership is not transfered when you make use of seagul respawn).

First of all, I posted about this in the MP forum earlier. So if you consider this a cross posting, sorry. I've been having som serious problem with Dedicated Servers 1.85 through 1.88. They simply will not start when using the sockets netcode, dplay works fine. Whenever I try to start the server using sockets I get this error: As opposed to this when I've added the -dplay switch: The server was a Win2k Pro SP3 Athlon XP machine that is run as a dedicated server, administered with VNC. The machine has now been upgraded to Windows XP SP1 and we're now using Win XP Remote desktop for remote administration instead. I've also reinstalled both Operation Flashpoint and Resistance from scratch. I also applied patches 1.20, 1.30 and 1.46 before installing Resistance. The 1.46 dedicated server works flawlessly. There is no problem opening a listening socket on port 2302 with any other applications, and it is not in use (accodring to netstat) when trying to start the OpFlash DS. The same problems occurs with all other ports I've tried. There are no firewalls running/installed. Any ideas?

one big reason for not having women on the front lines until recent days (maybe i should just make that "in the past 500 years or so") has been politics. people simply don't like seeing dead women shipped home in body bags. i believe however that this attitude is changing.
