Also its probably harder with arma because its a more detailed simulation..... But aircraft carriers should be do-able at least eh! Anyone here played silent hunter 5? You can walk around the whole sub in that!

Have it so that character carries weapon and deals with clipping similar to Metal Gear Solid 3. CQC is a lot easier because instead of the gun stopping you from turning the character presses the gun flat against himself or raises it slightly.. meaning you can move about freely without getting jammed.. Its also better than giving the guns noclip... because as in real life if you shove your gun flat against the wall you wont be able to shoot down that way...

Erm i would mind something that flattens you up against the wall... Its annoying trying to lean round only to get shot in the leg because the current lean is a bit... erm dodgy? If I was leanish I'd try to keep as much of me behind the wall as poss. I'm not really bothered about blindfire... If they implemented it .. it should have the accuracy of when you're running with an mg...

No there's no attach for vehicles.. Players can sit in designated seats but its optional... trust me I played it for a long time. It maybe harder in arma though because joint ops was a lot more arcady...

Yup could load a buggy in the back of chinook... stand on the nose of the buggy and park the chinook on an LHD and run around to your hearts contempt whilst bunny hopping and firing blindly...

Joint operations.....It came out in 2009... And it had 128 players online... And it always ran very well.....

Ooops sorry I didnt mean to say its easy... I realise its not easy to port over from the older games. And I totally appreciate the immense amounts of time people put into transfering these across. But It will mean not much has changed in the backround of the game if you know what I mean.. To use an extreme example compare Original red alert to red alert 3... There are still general things that apply to both units but red alert 3 is far more sophisticated.... -

TO be honest I'm glad if addons have to be totally made from scratch for this... It will hopefully mean major improvements in the engine.. I always viewed it as its easy to port over old stuff it means not much has changed... -
A proper throttle as apposed to slow/medium/fast... Jets and Cars really need a proper throttle I feel... Maybe that goes up by 10% dradients and if you hold shift+throttle up it goes up by 1% gradients...

Just saw that there are some apps for flight sims that let you use you smartphone as an instrument panel etc. Anyone think it would be possible to make an app that transfers the action menu or map or gear list or arty computer to smartphone?

If you have backwards compatabilaty then you greatly reduce what new features can be added.....

Auto Mod activator/deactivator.... I hate joining games and being booted for having/not having a mod active...... I'd like missiles to all have different seeker heads that affect how they are used... Vehicle component damage.. Eg Radar damaged on jet mean it cant use it... Radar upgrade... Radar uses a cone of detection.. Can be turned on off.... Sam sites can be slaved to control radars... In the editor instead of loads of units.. we have a camo selector... Aircraft carriers that can carry aircraft and move... Hercules that can carry vehicles... Flares/ecm Proper stealth for RAH-66 or anything stealthy... Not just undetectableness.... Winch/ropes for fastroping etc.... If a vehicle has 6 m-guns that fire at once... could they actually do that please? I would love to see any of these included Oh yeah and please please please include being able to animate vehicles properly... So we can mod in mechs later.. I dont want you to include them in the game... Just give us the abilaty to add them in :P Oh yeah and one thing that really bugged me with the F-35 in ArmA2... The hatches didnt open when missiles were fired.... Looks like you've corrected this on the commanche though. Thanks for reading :D

I sincerly hope The radar madel is heavily reworked.. So it can be turned on/off and that stealth makes it harder to find until it opens bay doors etc...

Daniel... I dont really see why such things would be out of the scope of it... Maybe IL-2 damage levels would be too far but I cant see any reasons why they wouldnt be able to manage making a plane act differently if various key components were destroyed...
