Since I don´t have what ppl will call a fast pc, I need to know the fastest settings. So my question is: Should V-sync and W-buffer be enabled? Which setting should Auto drop down have? What is the consequences of raising the frame-rate-o-meter in the Options menu. My crappy specs are: IBM Aptiva P3-600,128,TNT-2 M64 32 mb.

Hi I try to start my game without the splash screens, using the -nosplash command after the .exe file in my shortcut. But everytime I try it, the shortcut says something like "not correct file name". What am I doing wrong? I´m running W98. Napalm out

Gaswell I just downloaded 1.45. But I for my self, have never experienced any problems with OFP, so what in your opinion makes it so different now, that its worth replaying the whole campaign?

Hi ppl I have recently re-installed OFP and Gold Upgrade after a rather nasty pc-crash. But although OFP is one of the best games ever produced, I am a bit reluctant to start the campaign all over again. So I am wondering, is it safe to use the "shift + -" campaign cheat? Napalm out

I would go for: Das Boot (excellent german war movie, with over-the-top acting by Jürgen Prochnuw (did I spell that right?)) Apocalypse Now (One of the greatest ever on the Vietnam War scenario) Full Metal Jacket (Its just so surgical in its depiction of war horror) Saving Private Ryan (Spielberg at his best. And I #### those oscars for not giving Tom Hanks a nod.) The Thin Red Line (Its so different, and I especially liked Nick Nolte) A Bridge Too Far (Its just a wonderful movie) Eagles Nest (What can I say, Clints Eastwood is my Favorite) Kellys Heroes (See the above.) These are in random order, I would any of those any time. Although it is not a movie, I would say that Band Of Brothers is the greatest ever. I have 1 PC, and yes I legally own the MS licences needen #2 Did you bought the complete CD (album) for each copyrighted MP3 stored on your harddrive or non-commercial removable media? I don´t do MP3, period! #3 Have you ever burned a game for personal use without buying it? Or maybe old games on 3"5 disk? No, neither. And I started with the Commodore Vic20. Tapestations and sh.t like that. And still it is stealing. Its like checking the picture quality on a stolen TV, before you go buy it. There´s no excuse. Thanx guys. It really helps a lot, since I don´t know sh.t about hard/software settings. Although I am going to aquire a totally new machine shortly. I will go for at least 512 mb ram, and above 1.5 gHz. Also I am considering Gforce 3 ti200. Do any af you guys run OFP 1600 x 1200. If so, what are your specs? :)

I recently re-saw the movie Navy Seals, and wondered if the rifle God (played by Bill Paxton) uses in the flick is a Barrett .50 cal with thermal scope? If so, has anyone considered making such a weapon for OFP? I sure would like to, but I aint no programming genious. If someone made it, I sure would be standing first in the que to download it. I love the smell of napalm in the morning.
