YO PEEPS,,,,, CHECK YA MEMORY....IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE STICK IN YOUR MACHINE...TAKE ALL OUT BUT ONE AND BOOT UP..... YOU'L SOON FIND OUT IF ANY IS BAD AS YOU'RE PC WILL NOT START....... ME I HAD THREE STICKS,,,,,,,,,RUNNING FINE FOR 2YEARS.... THEN I BOUGHT OPERATION FLASH....BOOM......NO GO I HAVE VIA CHIPSET......TRIED EVERY KNOWN TWEAK GOING....NOTHING WOULD FIX THE CURRUPTION ERROR...... UNTIL.... I THOUGHT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.......TOOK ALL OUT BUT BARE ESSENTIALS..... ....ONE HARDDRIVE, NO ZIP, NO CDRW, NO NOTHING, GUESS WHAT ....I HAD BAD MEMORY STICK......!!! GO ON TRY IT........IT MIGHT JUST BE YOUR PROBLEM... PS. DOES NOT MATTER WHAT SETTINGS I HAVE IN BIOS........VIA CHIPSET OR NOT.......IT WORKS FINE....ONLY WHEN I START TWEAKING MEMORY SETTINGS DOES MY MACHINE FREEZE..... BUT AS FAR AS CURRUPTION....NOT FOR ME ANYMORE...... I CHECKED MY HARDWARE FIRST.......SOFTWARE OR BRANDS OF HARDWARE ARE NOT TO BLAME..!!! LEAVE THE VIA BIT OUT OF (your heads) and the PROBLEM....AND YOU WILL FIX IT......... .....DONT FOLLOW THE SHEEP AND BLAME VIA..... .....OR YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO CALL YOURSELF A USELESS USER........!!!! when joining some games i get a message 'unable to load due to some missing addon file,.......I've upgraded all standard missions...and a few I've downloaded from various sites,,,,,all added to missions folder.... Do these multiplayer servers have their own maps??? Where can I get all M/P maps Or are my missions folders currupt any help peeps ??

me i had these problems...took me three weeks to solve, tried every bit of software tweaking known to man...................!!!!! You what it was in the end ,,,BAD MEMORY BAD MEMORY BAD MEMORY BAD MEMORY BAD MEMORY B A D M E M O R Y !!!!@**!! So if ya have more than one stick in ya machine take all out but one and start...you'll soon find out which is BAD....... Life is but lots of little problems..rolled into one...YA

Still unable to install 6. Copy files manually from cdrom to h/d ...individually crc check each file. ( This helps, to the extent that the update runs begins installing then gives this error : File C:\ProgramFiles\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\DTA\HWTL\DATA3D.PBO.tmp: bad checksum: 171662624 (expected=171662625) Now this is different.....DATA3D.PBO.tmp....tmp file !!whats going on ?? I checked the original DATA3D.PBO it had no crc errors, is the update corrupting the install. Oh yes the update is taken off a game magazine cdrom, found this the only sure way of getting perfect update file to use. I read evry post on this forum every other forum related, Avon Ladys FAQ. Via's FAQ, This begining to become annoying, I bought this game 4 weeks ago, and have yet to play it........... The big question is ....WHATS NEXT ? What i want to know ........is can i get my disk changed by codemsters...from european v1.0 ,,,,to,,,,,usa ver 1.2.......if so i could then update to 1.30...i presume...do you think the'll go for this.....? I spent me money and i would like a game that works with my pc......... if ya gonna sell a game that work on (SOME) NOT all pc's then they should say so........on the BOX... Not when i've just bought it......ya. !! Either give us a patch that works for via KT133 users or give us a disk that is updatable ...thats wot it says on the box......Multiplayer....??..... Get ya act together boys & girls.......or go get ya selfs another job........stop ripping off joe public... Boo..

Reinstall game from original CD disc and try again. ........................................................................................ Yes we are all going to get it...that is ...us who own Via chipset MOB ( KT133 & kt133A ) ...WE'RE BUGGERED THAT IS UNTIL VIATECH HELP CORRECT THE PROBLEM....WE'VE BEEN SOLD DUMMIES.....!!!!! Me I've been through every 4in1 driver version...swap every bios setting i have... used @Wpscet on my registers...nop...no luck...although...once....ooooh two weeks ago...when i started this escapade.......i got really p...ssd off and removed every driver from Windows Me in normal mode this did crash ...once rebooted..with minimal drivers installed ...I MUST SAY HERE..( Less drivers than a normal new ME install...??) something happened....that is.. i tried a install.. and kaboom...it worked...install.../....update 1.20 ..yesss.......but bugger me...my system was so messed up i had to reinstall win ME,...what am i to do in life...i spend my time cruising forums....read sh..ttt.....writing sh....tt...learning stuff i have no other us for...other than to get my Å39.49 worth of fun...man life stinks.... ahhhhhhhhhhhh thats better...got it all off my chest now. well good luck all....maybe one of us will stumble across that magical setting that fixes all.......oooee.. signing off...KT133 user...(Bummer)............go.on then f off go write your own sob story...
