Well I'm still trying to figure out how to make a service out of the ofp_server.exe file. I see that Win XP has the required sc.exe file allready but I'm not sure how to use it to create the service so that - A) it restarts on a crash or reboots and restarts and b) it will use the sever.cfg file How bout it BIS, can you give us some more info on how to accomplish this? vM Grenadier

I had the same problem I'm quessing. It was my Norton Virus Protection running in the background. Seems it checks all incoming and outgoing material and was slowing me down. With it enabled I would get pings of 500ms on up. With it turned off I usually hover around 130ms on a cable modem to a decent server. Hope this helps.

Let's say I set up a box just to host OFP or a voice program such as BC. How would I make it so I can leave it unattended. Example - The program drops out and I want the computer to restart it automatically and lests say evey 12 hours or so I want the computer to restart itself to "clean up" and restart the program. I'm sure one of you fellas know what I'm getting at. I'm running Win XP Pro. Thx

Okay, to fix the problems with the laser desig I had to uninstall everything then install 1.2 then 1.3. I have the exe file for the ded server but I don't see a log file for it. Where can I get an example of a log file to edit for the 1.3 version? Thx
