Exactly, it won't make much difference since it would be a user addon but I would do it, i'd try a way around it such as attacking the town on foot or firing some shots into the tow so the children clear out of the area.

Firstly, for those who think this addon would get the game banned because of perverted textures that would be made may I please point you to the sims 2, where a few minutes search will find nude, mesh edited models of male and female: elders, adults, teenagers, children and im sure i've even see a toddler somewhere. Â Perverted yes, but if you look at the models downloadeds you will find that they have very few downloads and lots of ur a sicko comments. I do not see why people would download these for perverted pleasure. Killing them: OMG please don't kill children because that will cause............absolutely nothing to happen. We are aloud to kill men in this game and I see no difference in killing an adult model to a child model, it is not real life and no game has ever inspired me to do anything. What will it add to the game: Realism, or are we living in the village peoples paradise in Sahrani, (that includes having women downloads aswell btw), and moral choices to make. Â I could storm in with the tanks, but I might kill that child, now he may be just a model but not killing him will add realism and difficulty to the game. I for one am not very good at this game and im a teenager who loves killing stuff, but I would replay that mission until I did it without killing that child. (I have nothing against gay people, my point was merely to claim we only have men polulating this whole island)

only thing i can help you with is check all the dead guys aswell, even ones laying by enimise because i Have noticed that sometimes they will hit the dirt and stay there without doing anything and my guys will walk straight past them. You may well have a guy playing dead somewhere so just check again.

I have the same problem and i feel it may come down to using script. Which i cannot get a hold of:( hopefully somebody will know what to do. However i want my helicopter to do this at the start of the mission.

after I picked those troops up I took the direct route across the country side to get back in time, worked quite well I may add.

I dont think they need to be invincible, but it stops those few killing the children on purpose which is why everyone says they don't get put in.

I agree that women need to be added for realism. But I havnt seen anyone mention this about children why not make it so that children can only feature in cut scenes before and after mission and make it so that they are incvinclible so evem if somebody did find a way to kill them it would not work. That way you get the realism of seeing children walking the streets but when the bullets start flying and people are getting killed they arn't tere.

yeh Ive done that twice now, and it is now possible for me to make a pbo file but double clicking or right clicking does not allow me to unpack one

yeh, I only donwloaded it today but when I right click on a pbo file i just get the usual options open with... compress to rar compress to rar and email cut copy raname properties etc no extract option

ive got that pack but when i double clik a pbo file I cannot extract it in anyway although i can make files into pbo files. what am I missing?

I know how to get my files into arma so that I can use them as custom radio sounds. But I am making a mission and want radio to come through at a waypoint, now whilst I could do this with text I want sound to come through. I am perfectly capapble of recording and converting to ogg so thats not a problem. (edit) I just saw the title, I know it conflicts what i say in post but I was writing non player controlled and decided it was to long.

hope this doesnt get taken as hijacking the thread as it's sort of just moving on a point, how would i then move on to let me use these files as an effect when seeting a waypoint in the editor? Then they can be used in single player missions aswell if they go up fo download. umbr44

another idea that ive seen mentioned before is that the official campaign was just to show you what could be done with the game leaving members to create their own missions with better detail.

Firstly my computer has an ATI Radeon 9250 with 256mb RAM. Not the newest card but better than the minimum requirement yet I still get the " "Cannot create 3D device" (D3DERR_INVALIDCALL) " The support information is "Upgrade video card. Card with Shader Model 2 or higher is required to run ArmA. " This graphics card card states on the front of the box "which I am not holding right now" that it has a 2 pipeline shader or something similar. Is this not the same thing and if it is why would it not work. I have emailed the corresponding support address for my country but it has been a week with no reply, in my experience this either means that I am in with a long wait or that the company does not know what is wrong. If any other computer specs are needed i'll post them and would like to know if anybody here has had the same problem and can help?

thanks for every ones help, i looked at the x1950pro but i couldnt find it anywhere that cheap or else i would have, the price range for the x1650 i have seen is about 85 uk pundswhere as the x1950 was up in the 200s. i will certainly look at this link closely and make my decission, cheers. once again thank you for all of your help. umbr44

I am buying a new graphics card now  and  x1650 (that will work wont it?) but if 9800 was the first to support shader2 why does the game only require 9500, or was it a simply typing mistake.

the graphcis card does support direct x 9.0c as i am using it to play other pc games that require this.
