characters.pbo, among others. Can't start ArmA.

So I suppose there's no solution to this then. I tested with the patches from Gamer's Hell, but no. Last thing to try is to download an illegal copy and try with that, but that doesn't exactly feel right. Otherwise it would be nice if you could get the specific files yourself in some way and just copy them to the right destination. Or is there any program that you can use to manually extract the patches to som temporary path and then pick out single files? -

Also have the .pbo errors. When I try to install the 1.05 patch I get And during the 1.08 I get I have tried reinstalling the game and tried patches from a dozen different sites, still always the same errors. I have the 505 european game, and of course the patches I have downloaded have been the right versions. 32 bit Vista Ultimate, but got the error when trying to patch it under XP 32 bit too. -
This is really not a big issue for me as a guy, but I know a lot of women playing the game, and I happened to notice that when you customize your own player, there's a female voice ("Amy") to choose from. So the logical question is why there's a female voice but no female skin to choose? And I hope I'm not the only one who would think it's a bit stupid with a soldier in a mans body and a womans voice. So just a tip, for the next patch, throw in some face skins for women. I know you probably can add them yourself like in Op Flashpoint, but I'm not sure all of those players (women and men alike) out there know how to do that, so I guess it would be a nice simple thing to add, don't you think? Besides, it won't hurt us guys with more different allies and enemies out there on the virtual battlefields. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"...

Noticed a small miss at the main screen. The text appearing, speaking of all the features of the game, when it mentions the mission editor it misses a letter. Can't exactly remember what it said, but I think it missed an "L".

Haven't tested the 5116 yet, but in 5114 one bug still remains. The bug where you could end up playing the same soldier as someone else. I.E. two persons controlling the same player.

Ok, apart from having some of the problems other members of this board have experienced, I happened upon a rather interesting bug. While playing on a server the soldier I played all of a sudden started running around by himself. I couldn't run, but I still could shoot and reload. But the player was acting logically, not just running like a plucked hen as can be the result of extreme lag. After a while we figured out that another player was playing the running part, and I played the shooting part of the soldier! And it seemed like we weren't the only 2 that had that bizarre problem on that server. As for 2 suggestions to improve the multiplay part of the game, first I'd like you guys to replace the 1-3 boxes under "Ping" with real numbers. Second, a option for server hosts to limit people with high ping to not be able to join the server. As it was now I couldn't find a server with only low ping players gaming. Even if we were 4 with low ping, there could be a 5th player with 460 in ping. Wich, needless to say, ruins for the rest. Merry christmas. Edit: Typo.
