Hi there, I get the message box appear.... No entry 'editableconfig.bin/cfgvehicles/cfgnonAIvehicles.scope'. appear every time I play the game or place an object in the mission editor, Any ideas what could be causing this and how to remedy it, Thanks for any help solving this........sorry but I couldnt tell you which addon caused this as I tend to download loads at once and them instal them all together

That FAC video of the F-16's attacking the scuds was awesome.........was that flightsim footage from Falcon4.0 or an addon for strikefighters? Id like to know which as I never new the graphics of either of those sims was that good.......feel a purchase coming on.

arghhhh.....heresy.......your words burn my eyes The existing model is fine its just the CTD problem that needs fixing but its would be great to see a new range of these UAZ vans...to be honest I think I would rather see modelled a wider range of vehicles for this game, even if their military value is very limitied or they serve a very basic function. Its nice to see something other than the about a hundred different models of the same tank or helicopter once in a while.

just googled it and came up with this nice little document uaz3741 I really like the flat bed version.......I am just imagining a mission in OFP driving around delivering groceries in one.......it makes a change from just shooting people.

Agree 100%....I really love this little van ( I wonder if I would be able to get one in real life....anybody know if they are still current issue?) Only problem I have with this addon though is that when I have it fully loaded up with my troops and the enemy starts shooting at it I get a CTD......not sure if thats a problem with the addon or something at my end. Anybody else used this van and had the same problem? Otherwise....top notch

Hello, this modified maplooks awesome but......... Will the 2048 X 2048 run smoothly on my pc amd athlonXP 3200 1024 400mhz ddr ram ati radeon 9800pro 128mb or should I wait for the 1024 X 1024 pack??? Thankyou P.s look forward to the Kolgujev and everon pack

Itwould only help if the jeeps driver was weraing a white suit with a massive collar and there was a mirror ball mounted instead of the machine gun. Thats what the islands are missing............a Roller Disco Could rename it "Operation Flashdance" <groan>

Hello again........im assuming that from the complete lack of replies the answer is no. Oh well...maybe I can have a go myself, a hovering spinner car with opening gull-wing doors would be so cool. Out of interest does any sort of copyright apply to vehicles and characters from films for use in computer games?

Hello guys, After seeing the Alias island with its futuristic skyscrapers and neon lights, I was wondering........has anyone modled a Spinner car from the Blade Runner film for use in OFP. I have searched the forums but cant find anything which im suprised at, as over the years I have seen lots of 3d model spinner cars in 3d modeling forums. Thanks for any info you might have.

heh-heh....no Im not German, Im definitely English (unless theres something my Mum and Dad have kept quiet for a long time) I just use that name which originated from my time in the Il2 Sturmovik forums.....I just keep the name as its easy to remember. In the ORCS effects pack it has an identical .pbo file to the Flash FX pack for adding called "ICP_EFEECTS.pbo" In the ORCS readme, here is a quote =Effects for tanks=- (detonation, burning, flame from the barrel) [this] exec "\ICP_effects\tank.sqs" Is this something I have to type in somewhere to get the game to use the "ICP" effects and not the standard gme effects? -

thanks for the reply.......everyone seems very helpful in this forum, however when I said "works well" i meant just the bit about being able to rename the .exe.(ha - ha) I still see absolutely no changes to what the default patched 1.96 (i have goty edition) game lookslike....think the addon is not working from the way I have installed it but I cannot work out why. In the addon zip file there is a .bin file and a .cfg file....do I need to do anything with these? -

Thankyou very kindly DBR_ONIX, i added the "-mod=FlashFX -nosplash" and that seemed to work well, but I still do not see the visual improvements shown in the screen shots for the addon (like rotor wash on helicopters and the impressive looking tank muzzle flash when using in full mission builder). So far I have only put the .pbo files into my flashpoint addons directory. In the zip file there is also files called "editable config.cpp" and "config.bin". To get the addon to work properly do I need to put these somewhere?? Do I need to swap this .bin file with my existing .bin file. sorry to sound dumb but this is the first game I have ever added mods to a game and some readme files are not always clear to a new person. -

Hello, I am very new to this game but think it is the best game ever made (the little details like correct road signs and changing weather conditions make it special) So far i have been ok at adding addons such as new planes and tanks (just drop .pbo file into folder and away it goes ) Just now I downloaded some addons to make the game look nicer, the flash 2.0 effects pack and the Orcs effects packs which from the screenshots look awsome. When I place the .pbo files into the addons folder nothing occurs next time I play the game. Do I have to edit a file (.bat or .ini) or similar in order to enable these mods?? Also one of them asks me to shortcut the .exe file and add an extension in the target box. when I hit ok an message pops up and says "No" Any help for a newb will be great as I would love to improve the visual effects on this game.
