dudes, just so you know, if tha pic tht is actually visible with the men all looking at it and the skeleton sitting up with a knee raised is a true pic, then it's not prototype001's P3D. It was originally in a game called Half-life. I was quite surprised no one noticed it yet. If i'm wrong, forgive me. I think you can do it... you give the man like a m16 (thats what well use for this example), and have a trigger that says this: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> Type: End1 Condit: !(man1 hasweapon "m16") ;man1 is just a variable name, if you want it for the player, ;then you an just replace man1 with player I hope this works. what it does is to check if man1 hasnt got an m16, and then it will end the mission if he hasnt got it. the_unknown_one -

urm, ok, i may be a bit rusty on OPF scripting, but here's my go: have a trigger grouped to the player/person who is firing the falre, and have it set to Present, and in the On activatiopn box have this: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> a1 = true ;you can have a1 as anything else, its just a variable. then, in the person to fire the flare's init line have this: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">this addeventhandler ["fired",{[_this select 1]exec "firedflare.sqs"}] then in firedflare.sqs have this: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> ?_this select 0 != "thenameoftheflarelauncher": exit a2=true ;again, you can change a2 to something else. I liked it, u should have given him a gun. It needs less story. SSaying that guba is evil so he kills people is too in depth and too complicated for a campagin this level. Just "guba" or Kill" for the whole story would be quite suffiecient. The fact that there is a final show down is a HUGE cliche. This is good. It wil make people want to play your "Carp Campaggin" just becos they know there is the possibility of excietment somwhere. Also, the missions are very deep. The mere fact that you have to defend the base from others is just a mind blowing paradox, whic could send the whole universe into a state of ""WTF!!!?!?!!?!?!!!!!1111" the_unknown_one

that annoyed me so much. When i reached the base i had to save, i was like "WHAT??? I DIDNT DO ANYTHING!!!!1111" see, now ur crap cammpaggin has got me putting 1's after exclamations. also, urm, whats the point of defending an anti aircraft vehicle from an air attack the_unknown_one

did'nt Shadow tell you not to spam Jamesia? A freind of mine who has OFP GOTY (same as me) are always walking rounds school doing things like "all, move to Science block" and there's a poster of these children sitting on the burnt out hsk of a tank. I notcie it was a BMP, and we both said "all, attack, BMP!" much to the confusion of all the people in the room. the funniest one was when there was a marquee set up for this dance they have for the leavers every year, and he hadnt noticed it yet. he said "unknown, tent, 200. TENT? i didnt know tht was there!" the_unknown_one P.S. luckily i havent got in any trouble 'cos of OFP tho... yet

Im sorry, I didnt even know we had released, i would have tested it also, The Great Escape will hopefuly be much better. save the script, and copy it, and change the .4 in the first creation line to 3. see what happens, and report back.
