Lynx is used to support SAS missions, it is also used widely in the casevac role with UK troops, also convoy escort

This is absolutley fantastic, I can get it sort of running on the editor, but Im struggling with the naming of units. Can I be really cheeky and ask someone to give me a sort of template to copy n paste into the description.ext? Im buildin a mission based on an actual mission while I was out on op herrick, last summer. I know I am askin alot, but trust me I cannot get this right, and I hope to share, what will be manificent mission with you all once its done! I need it to look a lil like this. Hello ya'll, I am a serving British Solider, I have done 2 tours now of Afghanistan. I will make it 3 on OP Herrick 8, early next year. Here is my video, just somethin Ive done today, and it is my 1st vid Ive ever done. It is based around Sangin with a few lil clips that were taken when I was out there last summer thrown in just for a laugh. I am using UK Forces troops, MAPFACT aircraft, al Sakaka Al Jawf city as the area its all taking place. I hope you like it, it isnt the best your gonna see but we all gotta start somewhere!! I did a search and it didnt help, so I gotta ask, I wanna take screenies and make vids up. I did have a program where u could press a button and it would record what was goin on, on screen but a PC problem meant I had to restore my PC and that program is gone, andone know the name of it? Thanks

Ive followed that tutorial, and added "camera.sqs" to a units "init" and it jus comes up "missing ;" when I press ok

Maybe this should go in suggestions Im not too sure but I find the fact there isnt a "Zero" as we call it in the British Army, a bit odd. Someone on a radio, for instance. Who you call sighting and contact reports into Im playing a scenario, Im in command of my section of blokes, and i need cas-evac, air support, artillery etc..... These units are on the map or on the game, yet unless Im in direct command of them, they cannot be called upon. This is something which needs addressing

Been making a Mission up based on the UK (and US) operation in Afghanistan. Operation Herrick. Im using UK desert DPM troops, with Apache, and Chinook Helo's as support, seen as this was what we had out there. My problems are... 1. When I group together my section of troops with the aircraft, ie 6 men, 2 AH and a CH47, the men will not listen to any commands Ive given them bar gettin on to the CH47. Any way to control the men, and have the use of the support aircraft? 2. Does anyone know of a Lynx Helicopter addon? (Yes Ive tried searching) 3. How do you make movies up out of the game? I have used Windows Movie Maker with collating videos in the past, but i do not know how to obtain the images out of the game. 4. Im after some terrorist and insurgent type players but I know these are in hand. 5. How do I add a picture to the main screen when selecting my mission? Click Single Player, Mission, and then the mission options appear, Id like to add a pic to my Mission there. Apart from that, the Op Herrick mission Im creating looks kinda groovy, Ive added places and events that people who were the will know about. Camp Bastion Sangin DC Garmsir FOB Rob Mullah Omar Mullah Dadullar etc.... Im hoping that once Ive sorted out those few probs the mission will be available, and offer a british perspective on Op Enduring Freedom

1. When you start a game up that has men and helicopters grouped together the men always run off. They dont seem to listen to commands. I can get them all to board, and SOMETIMES disembark a helo, but they then will not follow me or listen to my commands.

Hello, Im a British soldier, and Im tryin to recreate one of our battles in afghanistan, cannot wait for these insurgents. What kind of weapons you looking at equiping them with? They are fond of the good ole AK, the Dskhr, RPG, Mortars, and nasty chinese red fos 107mm rockets
