Okay, I used to get this on my 7900GS as well (But I now have a X1950 Pro), but whenever I'm walking around or running, sometimes the movement on the screen lags behind the movement of the mouse. It also happens when I'm running, the guy doesn't stop running until a while after I release the key. Can really get me shot, say if I'm running forward a little, and I accidentally run from out of cover due to this error. I tried a search, but could find nothing for ATi cards, so I was wondering - does anyone know  a way to fix this mouse lag? It's really making Arma unplayable. My mouse btw, is a Razer Copperhead. Thanks.

Thanks everyone I've ran AVG, and I've found nothing unusual on my machine. It can't be a problem with it being too intensive on my machine, it even happens with the settings turned down low. Maybe it just is, as people have said, an in game bug. My IRQ's seem fine as well.
-
Thanks No keyloggers found..so I'm guessing IRQ conflict then..?
-
Thx ofpforum I've tried everything, from changing the flip queue size and even turning V-Sync off, the problem still happens. It's irritating, seems like a game bug.

Thanks troop I've lowered those settings, and the issue is still there. EDIT: Will try lowering the resolution as well, it's currently at 1440x900 (Widescreen monitor.)
-
Just to celebrate getting a X1950 Pro and an LG 194WT. Games look good widescreen.. Arma's at 1440x900. Â ;-) http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/8/grom1ab4.jpg PKW Grom

Units (And camo faces) from http://www.switzerland-mod.ch All one needs really is some Swiss weapons out for ArmA and this pack should be pretty much complete, but it's great with US weapons. A Swiss recon soldier is moving cautiously through a Swiss village in the Bernese Oberland on an exercise: http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/3848/sch1cn0.jpg Hoi! Gopfertami! I didn't see that Swiss sniper hiding in a forest in the Vaud countryside, also on an exercise http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/6/sch2ne8.jpg Back to the Swiss recon soldier again, man he must be lonely stuck in some village not far from Thun..this time he's crawling: http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/9560/sch3nl9.jpg

Just a couple of more, both using Vila's addons... Go into ArmA's video options section, and then click the "Advanced button", look for postprocessing and set it to "low", and it should work. I'm unsure about postprocessing and 16bit HDR, but I still think it looks nice with it switched off, so I would give it a try. Are you on an Nvidia 7 series card btw? Bit coincidental how people with this cards have had this problem with postprocessing in OFP and ArmA, maybe an engine issue.

Two more.. Both are from Vilas Vietnam era soldier pack: North Vietnamese soldiers in a tense firefight with US soldiers: http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/4363/nam1az7.jpg Gotcha!: http://img384.imageshack.us/img384/2778/nam2br9.jpg Another one, also from one of Vila's packs.. Zwei mehr..this time using Vila's units..Heer Flecktarn (The packs just named flecktarn) and some other pack from Vila which included South Sahrani police. Guarding the border between the two Sahrani nations, with the aid of a Sahrani police officer. (Let's just call is "SAFOR" ): http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/2981/heersoldatundpolizeicl5.jpg A Heer Kommando armed with a sniper rifle crawls through the terrain, on a training exercise in Sahrani: http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/304/heerkommandosniperhz5.jpg

Turn off postprocessing in the game. I had the same issue with OFP and DXDLL's postprocessing, and had it in ArmA, until I turned this off..ArmA still looks nice. My system: AMD Athlon 64 3700+ Geforce 7900GS 256MB DDR3 520/700 1GB PC3200 RAM

Oh my! This mod is AWESOME! I've started the original missions again, and installed those new maps, and OFP is amazing. I can recommend this mod! One question though - What is the name of the song which is on the main menu screen, when you start up the mod? I really like that song.
-
Oh my, just caught wind of this today. Looks amazing, I'm downloading right now

I myself love CQB firefights. For example, I was just playing an FDF Mod single player mission where I was part of a Spetz Natz team to take a town from Finnish forces and really really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the tension it created, for example snipers on the roofs and soldiers dotted around the town.

I believe you can still get HDR on sm2.0, just not the same type used on sm3.0 cards. For example, I think there are a few minor differences between the two.
