I don't think that cheating will be harder in 1.09, if an engine is defective by design your only hope is that cheaters stop playing ArmA...
Look at COD2, they made the same mistake and they had to add punkbuster to stop cheaters.
I have a 8600 GT (sonic) wich uses the same chipset I think and I don't have troubles.
I think that the 8500 GT is just too weak to run Arma, at the same price here in Switzerland you can buy a 7600 GT wich is better.

There are many test that shows that the 64 bit apps aren't faster.
You gain only the 2-3% compared to the 32 bit, CG is right, the only true advantage are the 16 Gb of RAM.
It's better to optimize the code than porting it to 64 bit.
