    I fully agree with Sanzinsky: has this mod died out? I'm much interested in star wars mods. Is there chance to play with the AT-AT and others addons someday? (the full mod would be great of course)

I thought it would be more logical to post it here rather then making a new topic about the same subject (there are already several ones, I couldn't find out an answer to this question by browsing the forum, though).     So do I. Did you manage to make an armed speederbike? I first wanted to learn how to make an armed motorcycle (since speederbike is based on motocycle) but it doesn't seem to be possible. Any idea?

    Oh, I did not understand you were using "official addons" only. Actually, I keep using more addons than the official ones and it seems to work. I thought removing ressources-hungry addons would be efficient enough (I stocked them into an addon folder not used for playing, addons using high-resolution pac or paa for instance). As an example, some self-made missions using "Combat!M2" addon usually crashed, but worked well with default BIS M2. I did not play as long as you though (~2 hours) to check if it actually solved the problem...

    Thanks for your answer. I did not find any solution either. Removing many addons seems to help though. By the way, the problem never occurs when playing without addons... Please keep us informed if you get an answer from BIS someday. Have fun (despite this problem).

    You should add more RAM to your System. There is definitely not enough RAM to run WindowsXP. Don`t ever think about running a Game with this Hardware combination. Remedy me please if I am wrong, but I thought that required hardware configuration for running OFP: Res is 256MB RAM. I know lots of people with WinXP (e.g. from CSLA MOD) and 128MB and OFP is running them without any problems...I don't think that this problem is caused by size of RAM. Thanks Suma, I will send it now. Dear Mike, Have you got an answer from BIS to your problem. I would be very interested to hear about it because I have the same kind of problem (access violation), and my own solutions remained useless. Thanks in advance.

    units got the same face!!

    Thanks for this most valuable information Pal, that was exactly my problem: after converting a bis model with odol explorer 2.44, my mlod model had images of faces all over the legs and the back. After reading your post, I realized that the 'osobnost' selection included not only the face of the mlod model but also legs and back which I corrected with "redefine" function. Thanks a million (I spent hours to find the solution).

    DanAK47 and Sniperwolf572, thanks for your answers. I found out I had to select the part to be redefined with the mouse on the main screen of the editor. Although it may seem obvious, I thought I had to select it from the 'part listing': it was not possible to make the right selection...

    Oh thanks, that's what I missed. I didn't know how to separate the pocket from to leg to make it a new part. Sorry if it seems so obvious, I'm just a beginner. I'll try it asap. Edit: cannot exclude the pocket from the leg (tried with Ctrl-D but didn't work...). The copied pocket remains part of the leg

    Thanks for your answer, which doesn't help much: I already tried that, but the pocket doesn't stick to the back, it moves like the pocket on the leg. By the way, I did search the forum for "redefine" and found an answer for a newly created part, but not for a copy of an existing part. Thanks anyway.

    I have the same problem trying to add a new pocket on the back of a soldier (using a copy of the original pocket on the leg). How to make it stick to the back (the pocket moves like the original on the leg)?

I guess I have to separate the new pocket from the 'pstheno' area before redefining it to make it stick to the 'hrudnik' area (since the new pocket is not a new, undefined part).     I'm just guessing: did you just download and install the latest version of the Combat Misc. addon? I have a separate Combat addons mod folder, with all of their latest addon versions. No such problem. Thanks for your advice Avonlady. I made a new separate addon folder with CBT and JAM addons and it works well. The problem I've had before might be some kind of conflict with another addon in the same addon folder. However, I really would like to use other addons with CBT addons  By the way, when the problem occurs in the mission editor, the following message appears: "no entry .modelSpecial". Any idea? EDIT: found out the problem and corrected it. Thanks.

    Thanks for these excellent Combat! addons. I have a problem with the hummer pack, though. When starting the game, the following message appears (and hummer pack cannot be used): "No entry 'config bin/CfgWeapons.CBT_M240B'" (same message for all weapons used by hummers). I use separate addon folders. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks for your help.

    Good idea, Sniperwolf. I checked my addon files but none of them is making a reference to the deleted addon. One more important (?) detail: before deleting this addon, I made a new one in a different folder, using the same config.cpp file. I forgot to change the 'vehicleClass' name for the new addon before making a pbo file of it. As a consequence, I had two different addon files using the same 'vehicleClass' name: both addons appeared in the same group in the editor. However, I deleted both addons since then, but the group still appears in the editor with the units of the first addon (units of the second addon logically disappeared). This is strange indeed. Is there a file registering all addons that would not have been modified for some reason? I checked the 'Flashpoint.rpt' file but could not find anything usefull.

    Hi, I deleted a self-made addon because it wasn't cool enough. However, this addon still appears in the unit/group listing in the mission editor! I can put it on the map. It's impossible to play however (which seems logical since the addon was deleted): I get the message "Error loading xxxx\xxxx.pd3 (Magic)". Why does the addon still appears in the unti/group listing? It's like the addon became part of the 'backbone of the game', so to speak. Does anyone know? (sorry for my bad English)...

    I have several addons folders. I checked with windows files/folders search tool and did not find another copy of the addon file. I did restart the computer, just in case. It didn't help. I checked my self-made missions and destroyed the ones that were using this addon. I took the addon from the recycle bin and put it in the addon folder, used it in the game, then finally destroyed it again, just in case... But it didn't help. This is really amazing.
