@raedor in this http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=57782 thread I am happy to get the content I believed it was in it for free (no ironic here). but reading your reply  I'm very happy that other developers make their bugfixes available for free (plenty ironic here) If BIS were so fast delivering updates, as you were closing my thread, there wouldn't have been any need to post it. @luemmel in reply to the same thread It wasn't my intention to get any 'Arma is out for me' reply, as I'm stated, I'm quite pleased with the current release, except for my notorious ALT-TAB crashes wich definetly are some coding issue..... It even doesn't matter to wait another couple of days for a patch, but I think my issue has earned a seperate thread,unless there is another reason for the delay of the patch I wasn't thinking of....

Is it only me ? I was just reading the '505' anouncement and some posts of the 'ArmA 505 Europe Release + US Publisher ' thread, and now I actually can understand why so many developers dare to release merely unfinished games! f.e. answers like this >> I don't care if 10000 people are playing the game online or 10 people.  I'm playing it and enjoying it and that's all that matters to me and I suspect many others on this board. Your opinion will not change our opinion. << or << don't like it, don't play it << such answers can probably only be justified by some kind of heavy addiction to this game! Hey guys!, try to read between the lines and guess what the 505 released at 1.05 and all the others waiting 2 weeks for their 1.05 means ? YOU, as a 45 bucks paying customer are getting cheated (sorry I'm no native english speaker and my good manners deny me calling this "Verarschung" ) If any 'serious' software developers outside the gaming industry would dare to resell his product before he patches/upgrades already paying customers, they would be out of business instantly! (and the reselled product wouldn't be bought either) Don't get me wrong, I own Arma since 6th december, and I enjoyed it since then nearly every evening. It's a fantastic game, with potential which will make it still worth playing in several years. And I think the 45€ are very well spent money, But if you don't complain NOW about the way BIS cares for their paying customers, we all will see these things repeating. In german we say 'wehret den Anfängen!', you could possible translate that as 'Stand up for your rights and fight!' I'm a System Administrator and developer(inhouse) myself, and I think I know a little about the problems of prefinacing such a big project as arma. But if 505 'really' gets the 1.05 release fist, I really would be pissed off! And beleive me, this will annoy me big enough, I definatly will remember this when Arma 2.0 is being selled!

I also play with an Asus F3J but with 2.0Ghz C2D and ATI X1700 card My game settings: 1024x768x32 View Distance: 1000m Terrain Detail: Normal Objects Detail: High Texture Detail: Normal Shading Detail: Low Post Processing: Low Anisotropic Filtering: off Shadow Detail: Low Antialiasing: off Blood: High Overall I'm not so satisfied with performance, with the above settings I get ~20-30 fps (avg is more near 20 than 30), but what I really hate is, with much foliage or using sniper scope, fps drop right down to unplayable 5 frames. @itim_tuko, can you post your settings / avg framerate ?
