renegade also look over at the ofpec site: http://www.ofpeditingcenter.com/ they have a good pile of tutorials to get you started in the addon department. just start messin with the programs and following the tutorials. unless you got the money for one'o'them classes. spidey

hey man, ill help ya out since no one around here seems to want to help the little guys anymore (BAD ON THEM). #1) get gmax(a 3d modeling tool) from discreet.com heres the direct address, http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/gmax_index.html #2) make sure you download the tutorials and start from the beginning. well thats where i am at the moment, oh and dont think your gonna just jump in and start makin a crapload of models right away cause it aint gonna happen, i been learning for the past two weeks and im far from bein good at it, i also have two jobs and dont get too much time to mess around with it. have fun & good luck spidey

let me fiddle with it there beno, i just translated the text on the page with the jpeg of the city and heres what it said: The file "Montignac City.Eden" in \Users\DeinName\missions the listing unpack. The EditorUpgrade102 in the Addon file unpack. Montignac was extended by some houses and roads. In addition there is destroyed quarter. so im gonna mess around with it and see if i cant get her to work. ill write back with more info later. spidey

why dont you just have everyone in the game respond with call signs at the beginingof their transmission like "Spiderman-six-triple-nine, enemy is full-o-holes, out." works for the military,and the people i play MP with. when i admin i usually have to mentally check off all the people that give their call names and then just kick the prankster out. works for me(for now anyway), but you may find another, better way to deal with it. just an idea. later. spidey

last time i played ground attack2, i had taken out the convoy when the hind showed up and started to do me in with a 30mm. enima, by the time i had the apache swung around to return fire, the su-25 came out of nowhere and slammed right into me, killing both of us. had to share. spidey

Question, how would i go about retexturing something? i know its been asked before, about a hundred times but i dont get a lot of time to sit down and read the forums very often. spidey

the only reason i would want a c-130 is to have the attack version of the plane, an AC-130 is for ground troop support. mainly used for taking out built up ground forces and mechanized units. strictly for ground support, the plane goes up, gets the call for support, then it finds the target with the help of the ground forces, and paves the way for ground troops to move on. then again, that would warrent air-air planes, and im pretty sure air-air shouldnt be used in this game due to the small island size.

dude ive been trying to find a way to either host or join a damn multi player game for this awesome game for weeks. then i thought of the forums,(just in time to intercept this thread) where are you guys going? oh and by the way, i hate gamespy and the like so if thats is the only way to get on a multiplay for this game im just gonna forget it. you give me some heads up on where to get some multiplay, and me and about ten others are gonna be there. spiderman
